hehe, my mom just called to let me know how the team did at the flyball tourny today(happy and Ripley are in brandon I couldent go) anyway happy was switched to running start to avoid tiring dyna out(dyna is 10 years old) and she was clocked at 3.8 seconds! the team came in second today winning all but one race in the Eliminations, before the elimes howver they were apperntly doing horrable loosing every race! so 2nd place is quite the comeback! not to mention 3.8 seconds is damn FAST!

Why are you bumping it? :p It wasn't that far down the list.

I'm curious... What is the average time for flyball dogs?

depends entirly on the dog, but under 4 seconds is what many aim for but never achieve that is why I am very exited that happy ran under 4 seconds lol the average speed also depnds on the height of the jumps, a dog jumping 16's is going to have a much slower average speed then a dog running 8's for example. the storm teams jumps 14's their average time is 4.3 seconds(the storm team is all BCs) happys average time is 4.0 seconds, I did not think she could get faster lol

That is awesome :D *Happy dance* Go Happy.

Lol Clovers fastest time EVER is 5.4 seconds, this time last year on 10 inch jumps, she now averages 6 seconds, my girl is getting old. :( ;) Now i have high hopes for Elvis, hoping for about 4 second runs out of him.
