My first grand-niece is here

Earlier than expected, but everything is great.

Saskia is 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 22 inches long. She was born in Austin at around 5 PM eastern time.

I am told she is a bald and pretty baby.

The proud parents are my nephew Simon and his wife Katharine.
Grandma (my sister Becky in Ohio) is very very happy.

AWWWWWw CONGRATULATIONS!!! I just found out today, that my daughter is having a GIRL! She had her 1st ultrasound (20 weeks) and the baby looks great! Her due date is Oct. 20 and I am so excited .. my FIRST Grandbaby!!!

Congratulations ... and we want PICTURES so we can ooooooo and aaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!:D

Bald is good - :D :D - eldest daughter Diane was bald until the age of 2!!!! I used to brush her head 'to encourage the growth'!!
