Solomon and I have recently begun to play a game that resembles Hide and Seek. Since he follows me all around the house, I will duck out of site and jump out and scare him when he comes close. He does his little crab walk with an arched back and runs towards me. He'll do the same thing to me if he knows I will be walking in a certain direction.

...don't you just love kittens. I remember my two doing that 7 years ago http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Peaches used to run behind the stove, and then pop her head out to look for me. If she saw that I could see her, she'd duck back behind the stove. She stopped doing that after her kittens got old enough to roam around the house. I miss her hide-n-seek games!

My first cat would play hide and seek. We lived in an apartment then, and I would be walking around barefoot, and he would hide under the bed until I forgot all about him. Then he would run out and pat me on the ankles, and nearly give me heart failure. He would run off with his tail crooked, and I could almost hear him going "heh, heh, heh!"
Our two we have now like to chase each other up and down the basement stairs, into the living room, where the male loves to run full tilt at the sofa, bank off the back in a U turn, head back toward the kitchen, down to the basement and rattle around down there for a while, then back up the stairs, etc.

My cats play a game we call "Mole".

They attack the bed covers when we have hands or legs under the covers.

That hide and seek game sounds line a winner! Jazz never really stalks me, but loves to attack if my feet even move under the covers! He is very aggressive with the game and has put some good bite marks in my new comforter.
Its really hard not to move your feet in bed...but he is so lovey dovey you can't get mad at him... http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
Oh, he does like to play hide and seek between the shower curtains....And when I get in the shower he comes running and likes to tap my butt when I am climbing in...thats a real funny around here http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

My favorite is when Charlie gets one of his bursts of energy and gallops through the apartment, finds Yertle the Turtle and prances around him a few times, then charges off again. He will do this maybe five or six times before he throws himself on the ground in front of Yertle and just looks at him. It seems like he's saying, "look what I can do...wheeee!!!!!" Yertle, of course, is never impressed and just looks back at him as if to say, "what are we gonna do with you?" http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/rolleyes.gif
Those two crack me up. http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

yeah, turtles are like tanks. they just cruise around the apartment. never to be interupted by some petty kitten's antics, lol.

I just remembered something funny...my former roommate, one of the funniest people I have ever met, was once having one of her deep and meaningful conversations with Yertle and all of the sudden she said, "Mister Turtle-Guy (that's what she used to call him), please don't take this the wrong way, but you need to moisturize! Here, take some of my lotion."

Forgive me if this is one of those had-to-be-there moments, but I still get such a laugh over that. I would often find her sitting on the floor having a chat with Yertle. He used to follow her around sometimes. Too funny.

PS-Meow101, Boogie is such a cool name for a cat! Love it! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
