Flair's leg is doing so much better! Swelling is down and he's feeling a lot better. Today he was pouting because he hasn't gotten to go out any. He wouldn't even eat his apple treats or carrots. After I took off the leg wraps, I took him out to graze. Did that for about 10-15 minutes and brought him back inside. He then happily ate his treats. Spoiled guy. A girl at the barn had braided his mane. I wanted to take it out today because it had been in a while. Here's one of the braids.

And here is his pretty mane after it was combed out.

I don't know what got on my lense out there but it messed up some pics. Grrrr
The woman that feeds the horses brought her daughter out tonight. And her daughter brought these:

Baby Geese! They were so cute. They think the girl is their mother.

And Flair hiding from the beeps of the camera. He hates it! You can see his eyes glowing through the fly mask.

Hope you enjoyed!
And one of Duke that I just took after finishing. He's snoozing behind my chair.

Val, I'm glad to hear that Flair is doing better and is insisting on being spoiled, that just proves how much you love him!

LOL, those little geese following that little girl around and thinking she is their mother makes me think of the movie, "Fly away home". Isn't that just the sweetest picture?!? Oh, how I loved that movie!

Anyway, I am so happy to hear Flair is doing so much better. Thanks for updating and showing us those wonderful pictures of Flair, the baby geese, and that cute kitty!

Willie:)

wonderful pictures Val!! I just love Flairs mane after the braids were taken out. I used to love to do that to my hair! :p

He sure is a handsome man!! Glad to hear he's doing well. He'll still be in our thoughts until he's completely healed. You're a great momma. :)

And those baby Geese are adorable.

and that Duke dog..... you don't know how much I miss him. Looking at that picture made me miss him tremendously. Let him know anytime he wants to come on over and lay with me on the livingroom floor for a *chest rub* that he's very welcome to!! He's so sweet. I love that dog! :D

Kay, if I can ever get us both well, I'd like to come over again soon. This cold going around is a rough one. I'm still not over it all and have to return to work tomorrow. I dread it! Then, after work, got to go give Flair his shots and change his leg bandage. I'll be lucky if I get home by 9. Ugh.

Oh My! This *city girl* is venturing out and learning some new things! I have never really spent time working on a farm or seen a farm animal up close and personal:D I do have an uncle who breeds Chiangus and Chianina. When I was a little girl, we visited relatives and I vaguely remember eggs and chickens and a bull in the pen but that is about all:rolleyes: This is fun!
Sorry about Flair but glad he is doing better. Horses, to me are so beautiful but I admit I am afraid of them because they are so big!!!
~hopeless city girl, even if I AM from Texas. All my *country* life was in western clubs, pickup trucks and a spectator at rodeos:p
