Buna diminaeata mamica lui Tom
Am descoperit fotografiile lui Tom si ne-am indragostit de el. e o frumusete de baiat!!! Si arata a fi tare tara dragastos. Noi avem 2 copilasi cu blanita si sintem innebuniti dupa ei.
Multumin mult de tot pentru fotografii!
Eu sint nascuta in Bucuresti si locuiesc de 12 ani in State.
Vom pune fotografii si noi in curind!!

Nici nu-mi vine sa cred ca ai raspuns asa de curind. Se pare ca Tomitza a devenit o senzatie pe acest forum si sint foarte mindra de el ( pentru ca e Siamez Romin!!!).
Blanoasele noastre sint asa de importante in viata noastra, la fel cum Tomitza e pentru tine. Fetita Heidi ne asteapta la usa cind venim de las ervici in fiecare seara. Samuel (Sammy) este credem noi cel mai bun la inima in interaga lume, e innebunit dupa noi si e foarte afectiv, are o voce asa de scumpa, ca o soprana, si vorbeste intruna...

Sotul meu m-a rugat sa-ti transmit ca pozele sint absolut superbe (este foarte indeminatica la fotografii si carpetele persane cu albastru merg asa de bine cu ochii lui Tomitza...)
For everbody else, I am complimenting Tom's mom on the photography skills and the color background in the photos. I am also telling her we have 2 fur babies whom we adore, a girl and a boy. The girl is waiting for us at the door every evening when we come home from work and the baby boy we think is the kindest hearted kitty there ever was- he talks up a storm and he is a soprano, since he squeeks a lot.
I also asked what is Tomitza favorite food!!!

thank you for complimenting me on my Romanian- it is actually my mother tongue. Yes, Tomitza is a STAR on this site and I made sure his meowmee knows this.
Doesn't he have the cutest tongue and the most gorgeous eyes?

oh my god Rose, they look so much alike. I've got to find out about personalities though. Sammy Bo is the kindest kitty ever, he talks up a storm (I should say squeaks), loves to cuddle and give kisses. He came from the HS of Greater Akron where he spent a year before he came home with us. He was in a very bad shape when they found him (abandoned by previous "humans"), dirty, unsociable. He was hissing and spitting a lot, today there is no trace of that...He was born with one leg shorter than the other (it's his back left) but that does not stop him a bit. I know he was horified when he was on his own because animals sense weakness and he had to fend for himself. He would not want to go near the outdoors. We love him dearly!
BTW, I am impressed with your Romanian skills, you helped Tom's mom a lot.

Am uitat sa te intreb, alearga Tomitza pe neasteptate prin casa ca un nebun, Sammy alearga si ne prapadim de ris...:D

La multi ani fetitei tale , sa ai parte de ea multi ani de acum inainte;) trebuie sa-i cumperi multe cadouri la printesa.
Sa sti ca si Tom alearga de de nebun prin casa , cateodata il apuca numai la ore mari (2-3 dimineata).
Iepurasul a venit si la sufletelul meu :D cteva mingiute si o undita :p din pacate nu pre este atras de ele .Jucaria lui preferata este bomboana invelita in hartie , o arunci si el alearga dupa ea , o ia in gurita si ti-o aduce la picioare , exact ca un catelus:D
Nu mi-ai spus ce mancare papa comorile tale :rolleyes:

ce hazliu, sammy se trezeste si vrea sa se joace la 2-3 dimineata.
heidi e tare pretentioasa la jucarii, n-am gasit nimic pina acum pentru ea, nu-i place nimic.
sammy se joaca cu laserul jucarie si cu jucaria fluture.
ei papa Nutro granulata si umeda, si did cind in cind pipet de pui si crevete fiert:D
Nici nu am auzit de aceasta marca aici la noi :( banuiesc ca este foarte buna. Tom este foarte figurant la mancare , rar gasesc ceva care sa-i placa:rolleyes: mancare uscata nu am reusit sa-l fac sa manance nici acum :mad:
Ingerasul tau este superb , toteauna mi-au placut pisicutele alb cu negru;)

INCREDIBLE PICTURE!! I am trying so hard to pick up some Romanian but the link to translation rather leaves a bit to be desired :( I tried another translation site and it helps but this is HARD!
De 4 ani tot incerc sa-l fac sa manane mancare uscata :eek: am incercat in toate felurile posibile dar nu vrea sub nici o forma sa le manance :( cum le vede incepe si le astupa :D

Doamne, ce fotogenic si dulce e!!! Cum te lasa el sa-i pui palarioare si sepcute haioase.
L-ai avut de mic? citeodata ajuta sa-i obisnuiesti de mici cu mincarea. Ma surprinde ca nu-i place peste (ton, somon etc)...
Ce sa-i faci e pretentios la mincare!!!!;)
Oh my god he is so photogenic and sweet! And look at him, he lets you put on him funny little hats and caps.
have you had him since he was a kitten? sometimes it helps if you get them used to foods from an early age. I am surpised he does not like fish.

Pe Tom il am de la 2 luni :D si prima mancarica care i-am pus-o in fata a fost hrana uscata pentru juniori, deci nu se pune problema cu invatatul:rolleyes: baiatului nu-i place si nu o accepta sub nici un fel:mad:
Sepcuta nu prea o tine in cap , decat cand este foarte obosit si nu are chef sa se lupte cu mine pentru a o da jos:D

imi imaginez preturile...si aici pomisorii sint scumpi ( cei de calitate buna) dar bineinteles nu ca in Romania..
la toate pisicutele le place sa se urce.
ce baietel bun ai- fetita noastra a fost suparata tare cind am adoptat baiatul si ne- a "pedepsit" facind in casa. acum totul e bine din punctul asta de vedere

Te rog spune-mi si mie cam cat este pretul pentru curatatul dintisorilor :rolleyes: eu am fost cu Tom de curand si ma costat cav vre-o 20 de dolari.:p

pomisorii de f buna calitate sint cam 150 dolari; noi avem 2 ca sa nu se certe ...si mincarica de buna calitate este destul de scumpa...
curatatul dintisorilor este cam 30 dolari, preturile variaza in functie de doctor si de statul unde locuiesti...

si pentru noi sint la fel.
copilasi nostri sint de la un azil de animale, si noi am vrea sa adoptam mai multe pisicute daca am putea, dar sintem ingrijorati ca heidi ar avea probleme cu acomodarea, si nu vrem sa o stresam...:(
e asa de trist cind auzim de animale parasite care traiesc pe strada, baietelul nostru a fost abandonat si a trait pe strada ( nu stim cita vreme) dar acum este asa de recunoscator ca are casa lui si nu trebuie sase ingrijoreze pt mincare si culcus.
oamenii sint rai, aici iubitorii de animale zic" daca vrei sa incepi sa ajuti in lumea asta mare, incepe cu animalele care nu se pot ajuta singure"

our babies don't like leashes either. Heidi likes her collar, we got her a pretty one with red rhines but it makes her itch:eek:

I did not know he has lost his apetite. I wonder if it has anyhting to do with the hot weather.
anybody, Tomitza refuses everything but boiled chicken breast. anybody has any ideas why?
his mom took him to the vet and the vet said everyhting is fine...
n-am stiut ca nu prea are apetit. cum e vremea acolo, cald, poate ca asta e motivul. am intrebat forumul poate cineva a avut o problema similara si poate sa ne spuna.
heidi mainca mai putin si cred ca e din cauza caldurii inabusitoare care a inceput duminica trecuta...
te rog mult sa ne tii la curent!!!

Nu cred ca m-am exprimat eu bine :( nu mai mananca mancarea la pliculet :mad: in schimb pieptul de pui il mananca cu mare placere . De cand papa piept s-a ingrasat . Eu eram ingrijorata ca nu mai mananca decat asa ceva.Vroiam sa stiu ce parere aveti :rolleyes:
Ma gandesc ca au schimbat ceva la compozitie si de aceea nu mai vrea sa pape mancarea la pliculet.Sti si tu cum este la noi , la inceput este produsul de calitate apoi din ce in ce mai prost , dar ce iti mai spun doar si tu ai plecat de aici.

A pus cam vre-o 800gr in doua luni si jumatate:rolleyes: imi slabise tare mult , dar de cand papa pieptul (cam multicel) a inceput sa puna din nou pe el.Inainte sa slabeasca avea 5 kg si ceva , ajunsese la 4 kg. Ai ca te-am zapacit :D

I will gladly accept personal mail. Tomitza sounds like a finicky kitty but it may also be that the wet food he's been eating just does not taste the same anymore - his mommy thinks the manufacturer may have changed the comp.

Laura was saying that he does not like his wet food, he has never eaten dry food ( he hates it) but he loves chicken breast and he gained 1 pound on it ( he is back to his normal weight).
The vet said he is fine.

Sammy este bine dar Heidi Ann are o infectie la vezica urinara- e pe antibiotice de aseara si bineinteles ca nu-i place gustul mincarii (punem tableta pulverizata in mincarea umeda). a trebuit sa amestecam cu peste ton.

Sammy is fine but Heidi has an UTI. she is on antibiotics since last night and of course does not like the taste of her food anymore ( we are crushing the tablet and mix it in the wet food). we had to mix in with some tuna, and then she ate it.

Ne chinuim cu ea cu tableta- nu mai vrea s-o manince. Cum simte mirosul in mincare, intorace capul si pleaca de linga farfurioara. Merge "taticu" la doctor azi sa schimbe tabletele pt lichid.
Sint necajita ca trebuie sa ia intreaga doza ca sa se faca bine. Prostuta de ea!!:(

Also, Sugarpaws is Romanian/American.
Vio & Juni also understand them.
I use a dictionary, but muttle through.:rolleyes:
I know that PT is supposed to be an English site, but look how popular and long lasting the Tom the Cat thread is!:D It will have 10,000 hits soon!
It is a nice thing for Tom to be able to come and be involved in one thread at least.

Let me know the best translator you find, most of them aren't very good.

am vrut sa-ti scriu direct pe adresa de email si sa-ti cer nr de telefon dar n-am putut - nu s-a facut legatura. cum crezi ca ar fi cel mai bine sa comunicam pt intilnirea in Bucuresti?
am adoptat inca o fetita luni, are 10 ani, micuta de tot, alba, o cheama Annie- o sa amp oze in curind.

we have 2 babies, a boy and a girl, and I should say we have 3 babies since we adopted another one- she came home this Monday. her "people" did not want her anymore and put her out (they prefer their dogs). she is declawed!!!:mad: and 10 years old and has been through a lot!!!

Laura, is Tom a "sacred Birman"? Excuse-me if I am wrong, I do not know anything about this breed, but I recently saw a picture and the cat was exactly like Tom!

Laura and I are very good friends (though we never met in real life), we spend hours everyday chatting over skype; we met on a romanian forum. She's the one that actually introduced me to this forum.

wow, it's a very funny coincidence, because I would never have seen Florentina's first post if I wouldn't have replied to Tom the cat's post! And I immediately saw Florentina was from Utrecht, so I searched for a thread from her!

I have tried very hard to converse with Laura, but I have to use a dictionary, and it is very time consuming.
I love that Laura and Tom are here, and perservere in posting lovely pictures, even if some people don't understand the words.
