have a dear friend who does a great deal of cat rescue in Las Vegas. Today Animal Control came out and told her that all but 6 of her current resident cats need to be gone within 7 days. She's obviously frantic. She needs to find homes--foster, permanent, whatever--for about 15. I know it sounds like a collector, but trust me she's not! The cats are well cared for, healthy, and well loved. They are mainly indoor, but do have access to a big fenced area too. Many are fosters, but she is working alone and not connected to a rescue group. She will cover the costs to transport these kitties anywhere as long as she knows they will have a good home.
