this is Rufus. he is in a kill shelter in Terre Haute,Indiana. he's only been available for a few days,but doesn't have much chance of being adopted. he's super skinny and is shaved because he was so matted. he looks a little differednt,but i think it's cute. he has some sort of tumor looking thing on his left back eg and won't put very much weight on it. the shelter can't afford his vet care so they are gonna try to adopt him out to someone ho can.hes got a few little black dots on his tounge. hes a BIG boy.

please help him. i conacted a golden rescue,but they couldn't take him. i'm looking for more rescues,but no one can take him or they can't afford his vet care.:(

Why are the Golden Rescues refusing? Is it because they are too full? I would hope that there is one out there who can help this precious boy. :(

Oh no! I hate it for the guy! I sure wish I could do something too! I really really pray that someone, the perfect person will come for him before it's too late. :(

i found a rescue in kentuky that can take him,but we cant get him dwn there. if anyone can make a trip orhelp with trasport.

I wish I lived closer to that side of the country. :( I'd be more than willing to help with his transport! I'll keep my fingers crossed for him, tho!

Let me know if you ever need transport across AZ! :)

If he were closer, my group would take him in:( It's heartbreaking to think this boy won't get a second chance. Hasn't he suffered enough already:( Maybe Mugsy knows of a group out that way??? Try posting this in Rescue!!!
