-Sigh- Nala's mom is coming to pick her up tomorrow, and I don't know how I'm going to 'let her go'. As much as a nusiance she's been, I love the little brat. :p It was nice having two goldens for a few days; I just wish it could be permanent, somehow. :(

I took these pictures today, just a few minutes when the both of them were playing in the sprinklers. I think they look great together. Daisy just *loves* her. :)

I know whatcha mean about being :( when she is gone. Everytime I dog sit, I have the same experience of the house being so quiet. Play with Molly & Daisy, and tell them how much you love them, and they will help comfort you!! :)

Aw, it's not pointless, you're heart is breaking! They're so cute together. It doesn't take long to get attached. Maybe what you need is another golden!

They look so cute together! Like each is the other's half. Too bad you can't keep her, huh?

Yeah, they are really cute together. :)
I'd love to get another golden; maybe someday. :(

I'm looking at Golden Retriever rescues, and these two beauties caught my eye..

It *almost* makes me want to ask/talk to my parents.

I'm printing out these pictures I took and giving them to Nala's family. They're big golden lovers too (obviously), and they just love Daisy. :)

Aw, I'm sorry Julie:( I wish you could keep her too.
The pictures are wonderful, two gorgeous, wet, golden girls!:)
Angel and Sandy are beautiful, also. Maybe eventually you'll be able to convince your parents.

They both look so cute together, I'm sorry to hear Nala will be leaving you so soon. Now we won't get to see pictures of her!

Not a pointless post at all Julie! I've never actually dog-sat a whole lot, just my mother-in-law's sheltie before he passed to the bridge, but he was older, very spoiled, and had a lot of annoying habits :p. I'm sure though if I got a beautiful young golden like Nala to dog-sit, I'd go through just what you are. I just love seeing her and Daisy together, they look just beautiful. The color shade difference between them makes them really a striking pair, Nala looks just the same shade of red as Tommy boy. I just particularly love this shot:

I know you will really miss her, I hope you are able to convince your parents to try a third pup again :). If you get another adult or even older pup, just take things slow and easy with introducing to Daisy and Molly. I know that when we got Willie at 9 months old, the first few days we had some problems with Cody being aggressive towards him. Cody who had never been aggressive towards other dogs, ever! We brought Cody in and let Willie out back to explore the yard on his own for awhile, then tried to introduce them on more neutral ground. Things were fine for a bit, but when we fed them and wouldn't let Cody have Willie's food too, Cody went after Willie in a way I had never seen him go after anything .

I look back now and think I should have fed them in separate areas for awhile till they were used to each other. Looking back is always 20/20 hindsight so they say, and I believe that is true!

On the other hand, when we brought Tommy here at 6 months, he and Tasha were instant best buddies. So sometimes things go perfectly smooth too. Tasha was the alpha and Tommy was only too happy to accept that.

Anyway, I am blabbering off subject now :D. Please give us some pics of the lovely Molly and Daisy together soon!

Just look at their expressions! This has to be one of my favorite pictures of Daisy.

Jules, we gotta start working on getting you that third dog ... if this picture isn't proof enough, I don't know what is. :p

Thanks everyone. :)
She's *so* cute, too. She's much more cuddly than Daisy, and whenever I lay on the couch, she jumps up, and lays fully on me with her head in my lap. :D

I'm still working on the third dog...unfortunately, after what happened with Chloe, I'm not sure if it'll work out anytime soon. But, I already have the two bestest dogs in the world, and the third one will come soon enough. ;)

Tee hee Brooke. I like that one too. :D

Awww the pics are so cute!:) They look so good together. I love the first pic. Nala sounds so sweet, I understand how it's going to be very hard to let her go.
