I am going to be a foster mommy to 3 ratties! They are currently in Illinois, and we have to figure out a date to pick them up. There current owner is severly allergic to them, she has been hospitalized many times due to asthma attacks. She is being forced to say good-bye to her dear rats. I am so heartbroken for her, so I deicided to foster them. Another lady in Minnesota has claimed them. The lady in Minnesota can't drive all the way to Illnois to get them. I figured I'd foster them, and the next time we go to our cottage- near Minnesota, the lady can meet us near our cottage and take them home.

I plan on spoiling them rotten of course and give them tons of love. I will take pictures almost daily and mail them to their owner. I am going to be the best rat foster mommy ever!

I just wish she didn't have to say good-bye to them, if only she wasn't allergic. :(

The rats names are Frisky Whiskers, Luckie, and Ellie Spots. They are all sisters and are utterly adorable. I feel so privaliged to become their foster mom. I can't wait to go to Illinois and meet their owner and get to meet my fosters.

Here are their pictures, click the link to see them:

They're so beautiful! I think I like the rat in the first photo the best! Is he a dumbo or is that just the way the picture looks?
