Where did you come up with your username for PT? Or why did you pick it?

I was really into norse mythology at the time, and I guess I had an aol sn the same at the time. Sleipnir is an 8 legged horse in norse mythology.

Well, obviously my username came from my Labby-boy, Moose. I guess it doesn't get much simpler than that. :p I joined in the 'pre-Zoey' stage, so that's why her name isn't included in my username anywhere. :)

My username is my real name as well, when you are first to register for a board, you get to choose whatever you want, and I figured this would be simplest for everyone to remember!

I wanted to be Pouncer's mom - or something along those lines, and had the hardest time getting it working. I decided to try something completely different, but what? I looked over to see Allen taking a catnap... and catnapper was born. :)

My came off a sticker that's on my car window, Its says Fox-girl, for Fox racing. People started calling me Fox-gal because they say I'm to old to be a girl, so I'm a gal. I guess I should just be happy they didn't start calling me Fox-old lady. :eek:

:o I never realized that's what your user name meant. I always thought it was *catnapper* as in someone who *kidnaps* cats. :p Now I know. Silly me. :o

My user name is quite obvious. Popcorn, is the name of my lutino tiel, who happens to be a bird. I chose this user name, not only because his name is Popcorn, but also because both of my birds are possessed by popcorn, and eat it as a treat all the time. I have always called both of them *popcornbirds* whenever they eat popcorn and get it all over their faces. :p

Mine is sort of obvious...

I DJ at clubs and my stage name is Fyrewolf...it got started because in high school, I ended up being called Pheonix Firewolf in my sports days *don't ask me, I didn't come up with it!* I altered the spelling just to be different for stage purposes and to TRY to put something on the licence plate of my car *someone has fyrwolf though %#@%&!!!* and 36 is my favorite number * Terry Steinbach of the Oakland A's had 36 as a number, my fav player ;)* and I always was # 36 when I played softball. To prevent getting that dreaded "Someone took your username idea already" message I always tack 36 on to the end of any username online...helps me remember them too!

I am a red head, have been since the day I was born, and wanted something a little bit unique so the RedHedd moniker was born. I use it for almost all my Internet sign-ons. When RedHedd is already taken I just tack on GA (short for Georgia, my real name) ... so in some forums I'm RedHedd and in others I'm RedHeddGA.

I had an old cat that I rescued named Smokey. In 1999 she passed away to the RB, and in 2004 Diamond had 4 kittens. I thought the original Smokey (the Elder) had sent Diamond to me, so I named one Smokey the Younger. I picked Smokey the Elder to remember my beloved RB kitty. Also it's fairly unique.

Kblaix came from K being my first initial (Kari) and blaix is a variation of our last name (Blake) that my husband uses all the time. We're not as proud to carry the name "blaix" anymore tho. Justin use to have the domain name "blaix.org", well things had gotten busy and the name expired before he renewed it. He thought no big deal in a few days it will be available again. Well those few days past and he went to re-register the name, it was taken. "What, who would want that name?" A couple days later we get a call from a friend saying "what in the world did you do?" Turns out the guy that took our name used it as a porn site :eek:. How horrible, Justin had that address on resumes and everything. Things are better now, we still use the name, but stay clear of blaix.org.

Actually I thought the same thing. The other day when you found that jack russell I thought to myself "now you're a dog napper too". :rolleyes: In the words of PCB "silly me".

I used to call Angie my peanut all the time. It was more like I would scream it when I came home and she'd go nuts (no pun intended). I signed up for PT a few months after she died and I couldn't think of anything. Since I now have two dogs (first time I ever had more than one) it became my peanutS. I actually just recently started referring to Syl and Harley as my peanuts.
