I have been a little silent lately due to all the work we have been doing to save the shelter, but today I took time to do what is really important - get some dogs out to an adoption event. Fortunately we don't have that many dogs at the shelter right now due to all the publicity and exposure, but here are pictures of the ones that have recently come up to the adoption floor.
This is Marlin - a very sweet and submissive dog. We think he is a Bulldog Mix, but he could also be a Amstaff Mix, but whatever he is - he is definitely sweet and loving. He was great with all the kids and loved playing with the other dogs

This is Mason, a 2 year old Chow/Golden Mix who was a surrender and came in with an imbedded collar. He is much better now and has recently come up for adoption. He is very sweet, but is a little leary with other dogs. I think he would be better in a house with older kids, as he startles a little with sudden movements.

Mickey is a perfect family pet. He loves kids and has a great deal of energy and patience. He also just loves playing with other dogs - male, female, adult or puppy. He is about a year old and is a Lab/Chow mix.

This is Clarence, a Coonhound Mix. He is about 3 months old, but is a very sweet dog. He and Poppy loved playing, but Clarence got a little snarky when Poppy had him on the ground.

This is Poppy - a very sweet pitbull mix. Poppy is very high energy, but once we got her out of the kennels and let her play, she settled down pretty well. She would probably be best in a high activity home with another dog to play with. We had just that kind of household interested, so hopefully it will pan out.
