I took these pictures of Jazz sleeping in her bed a while back and just came across them again. That looks so painful. I know they are dark but can you see how contorted she is?

This one gives you a better idea of how she was positioned.

Sometimes I really wonder if they have any bones in their bodies.

She doesn't seem to be complaining at all! :D they sure do get into some awkward looking postions... but have you ever noticed that the weirdest looking postions often are the ones where they're purring their heads off?

I Swear some of these kitties must be double-jointed, my RB Sooti used to be just like Jazz in looks and he also lie in the most strangest positions, we often used to get a laugh at him.

Awww Jazz, you look so comfy sleeping like that. My Chipper sleeps the same way and it takes all my power not to go and give him a big squeeze. Soooo cute.

Kim i am double-jointed, and believe me I cannot do anything like that, infact its to my detriment unfortunately, but them kitties sure are sweet whatever they are doing.

Chester is a good one for getting into funny positions like that.. As I have said before, "My Mama use to say if they get anymore relaxed, we'll need a screw driver to put them back together!".

I dont know HOW they can sleep in the positions they are in, but as others have pointed out, the seams like the more "contorted" the position, the louder they are purring, so it must be working for them!

When I see them in positions like that I am so jealous!! They are all twisted up yet you can tell how comfortable and happy they are. Look at Jazz and you can tell the she is so totally relaxed! She is so pretty and her fur is shiny! I would love to crawl in there with her and kiss and hug her. She even made me yawn!http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/biggrin.gif

Oh my Jazz- don't you think it would even be more comfortable if we could snuggle together?
