Friends Forever

I've had a dog for three years now and I spoiled him rotten. One night I was taking the trash out when I found a kitten. I Fell in love with her right away, so the next day I took her to the vet. The vet said that my dog wouldn't go for another pet running around the house. But I took the chance, I let lil' Willow and Scruffy meet. they sniffed eachother and liked eachother for a little. That night I went up stairs to the kitchen to get a drink and when I went down stairs again there they were curled up together in front of the T.V. and now they won't leave eachother.
Did that happen to anyone else? Or are pets just really odd?

I'm not sure I would call that odd behavior. I think it is just wonderful that they get along so well and are fast friends. We need a picture of them if it is possible. Congratulations for taking in the stray, now you have two to spoil rotten. And you have two that will love you to pieces.

That is such a sweet story! I also think it's just wonderful that your dog welcomed the new kitten with open paws. I don't believe it is all that unusual for a dog and a cat to become close. It's not odd, although I understand it's not extremely common! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif Yes, you definitely have to post a photo of the two of them together--I know it would melt my heart. I'm envious that your two pets became friends so quickly. I wish my first and second cat would get over their differences once and for all and become buddies!
