Swissie dog show & got to meet a Pettalker :)

My mom, dad, hubby, Dale and myself went to a Swissie dog event today held in PA. So i have just a few shots from it, b/c i was busy walking Dale around, and talking with other Swissie folks...but we also got the pleasure of meeting Pettalk's very own, Catnapper (Nicki, Pouncer and Allen's mom)...she lives near where the dog event was being held and stopped by to say hi. It was very nice to meet you, Catnapper! Hope to have another Pettalk Pa, so we can meet Nicki too!

It was great to meet you too (thank you for inviting me! :) )

It was a fascinating event. They had a competition where they harnessed dogs and they pulled a weighted cart across a little runway. Those are some strong dogs!!! I'm still wondering how they pulled 600 pounds on a cart! Hubby says he's sure I'd never have been able to do it myself and I'm a great deal bigger than the dogs are! (Isn't he funny?)

I met the sweetest little girl puppy, and would have smuggled her out, but you can tell my purse wasn't quite big enough to squeeze a puppy of any age into!

It was very windy and threatening to rain. We're still waiting for that rain!

I enjoyed seeing handsome Dale as well as some new Pet Talk faces. Meeting Pet Talkers is the best - glad you guys were able to get together!!! :D

Yes, we had probably the tiniest PT Meeting (only 3 PTers) but it was fun anyway! This is just a group of swissie owners watching an obedience demonstration. Dale has a little growing to do to catch up with these big guys! LOL! :)

There were two small pit bulls who were holding their own with the big guys! They were each about 30 lbs. and boy could they pull!

This next batch needs a *cuteness overload* warning. These little sweeties were 3 weeks old and I particularly fell for one of them. It was hard not to reach down inside and put him in my pocketbook and bring him home! :D There were 9 in the litter and the momma didn't have enough milk for everyone so they had to be given bottle supplements. What a job! :)

Yes, and kiss it too. What a bunch of sweet little ones! And Robyn smelled puppy breath. Oh, I can hardly contain myself and that is from just looking at the pictures.

Oh! I loooove Swissies! They are so sweet and gentle.
This sport with the carts are very popular here in Switzerland, there is even a National Championship!!! Who knows the future Pam's puppy will be the next Champ?

I sure do wish I'd gotten the chance to meet those sweet babies myself! I'm all warm and fuzzy just from looking at them!

That's a fantastic shot of the area that your husband took! I love this area, and am so happy that I can call it home! I am always telling my husband "look at the landscape!!!"
