5 months. :)

She is a short hair wild boar (Yes, it is one of the colors)! A combination of red, black, brown... She looks one color indoor and a different color when she is outdoor. She is a mini and was 8.5lb last month when she was at the vet.

--What attracked you to the breed?
Great personality and t-i-n-y size!

I actually didn't want a Sheltie at all. But my mom had the final word and I ended up loving them more than the actual breed I wanted in the first place.

--What attracted you to the breed?
My dad decided he didn't want a big dog (after we had been looking at goldens, rotties, and GSDs), so a sheltie was the biggest "small" dog I could find that I was allowed to have and that I liked the look of. Luckily for me it all worked out :)

Wolf-like looks, good personality, size (big but not huge), coat type (medium length, doesnt require trimming), activity level

*Annie-- I've had her since she was 3 mos. old
*Bailee-- I've had her since she the day she was born.
*Felony-- He was about 7 1/2 weeks old when I got him, on April 19th, 2004.

--What color and size is/are your dog(s)?
*Annie is basically the color of a red dach., but just a little lighter in some places. She weighs 10 lbs.
*Bailee is black and tan silver dapple. She weighs 4 lbs.
*Felony is buckskin with a white mask, white chest, white feet, and a white tipped tail. He weighs about 14-15 lbs.

--What attracted you to the breed?
*Annie: I've always loved dachshunds and pugs, so what better than to get a mix of the 2 breeds. I wanted her the minute I saw her.
*Bailee's mom is Annie. I didn't know Annie was in heat and we were babysitting my friends full-blooded double dapple dachshund, and he got Annie pregnant. I didn't even know Annie was pregnant, because she didn't start gaining much weight until about the last week, when I saw the babies moving! Bailee is the best accident I've ever encountered. Lol.
*Felony: I've always loved pit bulls. They make wonderful pets and are very friendly despite what is said about them. I really wanted a big dog, so my mom got him for me, for my birthday. Pit bulls are one of my favorite breeds of dogs, and I'm so happy to have him.

~Just wanted to say that I didn't add Molly because she is my moms dog, and you asked about *my* dogs.

I didn't go get them for their breed.
I got them for their personalities and I fell in love with both of them the second I got them.

Molly: She's a Sable and White Rough Collie, [A dark mahogany color with white markings ; and of course, the Rough Collies are the long-haired version; "Lassie" dogs.] She's a Large sized dog. [70 pounds]

Daisy: She's a Golden Retriever ['medium' golden in color with some lighter shades throughout her coat.] She's a Medium sized dog. [53 pounds]

--What attracked you to the breed?
Molly: I originally thought they were 'foo-foo' dogs, but, at the time, it's the only breed my mom would agree on. Molly is NO where near being a 'foo-foo' dog; she's a tomboy through and through. ;)

Daisy: Why? Because she's a Golden Retriever, of course! :D The sheer beauty of the breed, personality, activity level, etc. They're perfect for me! :)

When we got Katie I never knew she was a schnauzer mix. I didn't even know what they were. When I kept reading up on them I just kept falling in love with there looks, personaltiy, smartness, everything. plus..........they look GREAT in a sweater! ;)

uhhh border collies? well I was trying to figer outwhat shadow was mixed with I came across border collies, I started looking into them more watching them at herding trials, and dogs sports on TV, when I got Happy I was hooked!

Mickey is a sable and white Sheltie and I think, fairly large for his breed (frame-wise). He is about 17 inches at the shoulder and last time he went ot the vet he was 5 pounds overweight :o but has since been on a diet and been on more walks. I can tell he has lost his weight...especially the fat he stored during the winter.

--What attracked you to the breed?
The look of a herding dog always appealed to me and when I read up on them, I loved the personality and they seemed to fit our lifetsyle really well.

I love dachshunds b/c of their wonderful personalities, small size, short coat, ease of care, and good looks. :D Aussie b/c of a love for herding dogs, smart, and also easy to care for and great looking dogs! :)

Clover: Red, with darker (Blue) on her tail and back. She is meduim in height but is very long and muscular, she weighs 30 Kilograms.
Elvis: Black & White traditional markings. Medium build and meduim height. Weighs 17 kilograms.

--What attracked you to the breed?
Clover: I did not have a fondness to either breed but Clovers mum was a very gentle good natured dog so i was hoping for some of the same qualitys.

Elvis: Ahhh the BC well i fell in love with the breed from being around BCs at dog trials and sporting events the have so much energy and want to please their humans. I am now hooked.

Sylvia is 16 lbs and is almost all black. She has a little white patch on her chest that looks like the cream when you bite into a hostess cupcake.
Harley is 22 lbs and is almost all white. He has brown spots on his ears that look like someone spilled chocolate milk on him.

--What attracted you to the breed?
I always loved Pugs when I was little, but I didn't even know there were black ones until I saw Sylvia. We were supposed to go to the Boston Terrier breeder in a few days, but Sylvia was in the right place at the right time.

I never considered owning a Jack Russell until I saw Harley shaking his butt at me in a cage at the shelter. He was also in the right place at the right time.

As for the Boxers, My family had Boxer for 46 years, so it was in my breeding to have Boxers

The Dane, they are just so gentle and have a wonderfull personally.

As for the rest, The only reason that really matters, I feel in love with them. Plus they needed me as I now need them.
