I had to laugh at Yertle the Turtle and Charlie last night! Yertle had just polished off a wedge of tomato and Charlie had finished his wet food (besides picking at his dry food, which I free feed him). So there I was, chomping on a bagel with cream cheese, when I looked down and there they were, both of them staring up at me as if to say, FEED US!! Now, Charlie always stares at me when I'm eating and Yertle will come running when he sees me open the fridge (believe me, turtles can move pretty fast when they're hungry!), but this is the first time I have had both pairs of eyes fixed on my food at the same time! It was comical.
It seems like everytime they look at me, they see food. Can't they just love me for ME?? I think I need counseling...I feel so used! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif
