Mommas are popping like crazy! This is just a few of the babies at the shelter right now. I know you guys are all baby crazy (I can't understand that!) but I thought I would add some pics to the baby frenzy.

This poor momma was very underwieght and tired. She is really friendly but she still tried to hide her babies from me. I had to post it though because of the teeny tiny baby feet!

There is one very special sweetheart of a momma. I have fallen madly in love with her and all of her babies! Her name is Ivory and she has six of the most adorable kiddo's!

Oh my goodness!!! Look at that little tabby showing her chin in the second picture. I just want to tickle that chinny-chin-chin sooo bad. CCL, tickle that chin for me!! :D

They're all so cute! How in the world do you stand it? I mean, without obtaining a house full of cats? Oh, wait a minute . . . ;)

You're right, those last two pictures are killers. Especially the last one. Look at those sweet little toesies!! And I want the kitten on the very right in the second to last picture. What a beautiful cat he's going to be!!

I am GREEN with envy. Must . . . find . . . kittens to hang out with!!!!

Twink-that's the kitten that I have had my eye on since day one!! He/she also has that same marking right above the tail! It is going to be sooooooooo gorgeous!!! I probably could have had him but now we have Mean Mr. Magoo to deal with so no babies in my future!
It is so hard to not bring them all home!

OMG! If I were there, I would just have to move in there with all those babies. If I could have 4 more babies and had all those to choose from, that would be a real hard choice to make. They are are adoreable!! That last one is priceless and ever soooooo sweet! Those calico's caught my eye in that first one tho, and all those sweet little eyes looking at you just makes the heart SMILE!

Laura, where did that figure of 4 come from? I'm sure that maybe you could settle for two?j/khttp://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/wink.gif

AWWWWWWWW talk about cuteness overload. They are all so precious, but I feel so hearbroken for the underweight momma. That's the one, if I could, would bring home to care for and give lots of lovies too.
Oh if we could only have a magic wand to make the homeless kitties have forever homes, the hungry, have food, and the unwanted, be wanted and loved.
I could only dream.:(

Amen Lorraine!! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Since we can't do that I try to stick with something I have learned here on PT. There are several quotes that have been said to me and I won't forget them.
"You can only save one at a time"
and this was said when one got adopted
"Good job, now it's time to move on to the next one!"
It was moosmom who made that last statement and it made an impact. If we all make a small difference in just one or two cats lives then imagine how many total we have helped!http://petoftheday.com/talk/images/our_smilies/smile.gif

Oh.... they are all toooooo adorable! I have been visiting my local "shelter" as well.... been several times recently, including today. Nope, haven't come home with any of them, but boy is it HARD! Last week there were only 2 or 3 babies, today there were around TWENTY! I was in shock, and just overloaded with oooooo's and ahhhhhh's and squeals over each tiny little one! I just hate that I don't have a huge cat farm, so I could bring all of them home. Gosh, especially the adult cats!!! My heart was just breaking for THEM! There is a 14 year old female cat .... declawed on all four paws, and very chubby who was just sooooo happy when I opened her cage to give her some love! She acted like she didn't think she was ever going to be loved again. :( Oh dear God, why can't I save them all!!!!

Yes I know CCL, it does help when you save one at a time and it feels soooo good when you are able too also. I've saved 3 mamas with babies, then a 3 month old male, 10 month old male, 7 week old female kitty and I am now working on an adult male. Wish me luck with him, because finally after 10 months the prospects are starting to look good.:)

What a bunch of cute little fluffballs, they are all so adorable, makes one want to take them all home, the poor mamma who is so thin, she looks unwell, I sure hope the shelter can feed her up and put some meat on those bones, poor wee girl., how cute she is so protective of her young, a devoted mamma for sure.

Thanks for sharing the pics, just hope they all find good homes the precious wee things., and mamma's too.:)
