My kitten (now 10 months old) suffered for many many months with worms. The house I "rescued" her from was extremely dirty. It took many hard-core treatments to finally get rid of the worms. Even my vet seemed a little surprised that my cat was so resistant to the worm treatments. Has anyone else experienced this in their cats? My cat seems ok for the past 2 1/2 months - but I am still really nervous about her getting worms again.

My kitty has been suffering with worms also. I haven't seen one in a while but I do occationally. I give him worming pills, but it doesn't seem to work. What did you do to get rid of them? I hope your kitty stays worm-free!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

I always have a supply of "Droncit" on hand. These are very bitter tasting pills. My cats absolutely hate taking these pills but they are supposed to be really good. There is a liquid dewormer too but it is not as strong. Pekoe was the runt of the litter and was not nursing properly from birth. My vet thinks that is why she has had a hard time getting rid of the worms. She is doing great now and is extremely affectionate and healthy!
