Cat Massage.

Do you give your cat massages?

Ed's favorite is a scratch at the base of his tail , them I run a finger along his spine to all the way to the tip of his nose...I repeat until I get nipped.:eek:

He especially like this at night, while I read.

LOL! Sometimes they'll tolerate it - Mishi more so than Mitzi. I even bought the book on cat massage! :D

Tigris likes all kinds of massage, especially belly rubs:D Filou thinks it hurts his autonomy. ;)

Seriously folks, if I tried to massage Speckles she'd rip my face off. She likes soft petting but anything more than that, she's gets angry.

As for Max he loves his belly massage in the morning.

Sidney loves a full body massage. Jan would hurt me so I don't try with her. Joxer likes his massages at 3:00am.:eek:

Mitzi used to give me little kitty Shiatsu massages on my back - she did it several times and it felt SO good! Kinda like kneading with her little mitts on my back. She doesn't do it so much anymore. I wish she would!

Now MISHI - my maine squeeze! He recently started giving me foot massages! I'm NOT kidding! He'll start with rubbing and then head butt my feet if I hold them out for him and he continues this for several minutes - it feels SO good! :cool: ;) :D

Mr. Allen tells us when he wants a belly massage. If you ignore him, you'll get a mighty big head bump from the big guy! He loves to have the base of his tail and mid back rubbed too.... but somehow only wants hubby or son to do it. (Is he gay??? :Eek:)

Pouncer loves just about anything you'll do to him, provided you also play with him once he's had enough loving.... and you'd better play with him or he'll decide for himself how to play with you) this usually involves finger or toe nipping.) :)

RB Bert used to love it! I would gently trace his muscles and feel his bone structure, etc - he adored it! My three will barely tolerate it! I had a cat massage book at the time that suggested it. Maybe I am not doing it right anymore:rolleyes:

YES! I even bought a Book , and I do the Figure 8s , and the Circles and the Scruff Rubs!!!!! And the Cats love it , although , you have to know when enough , is enough!!!!

Abner takes right after his meowmie....he loves them. I take all the skin from his back and massage it up and down, give it a little tug here and there......and he turns to muss immediately. ;)

Mystic like her shedding blade to use as a massager.

I tried massaging marsha last night. As soon as I started she FLOPPED onto the floor! (a VERY unladylike flop, mind you!)

Mooch loves a back rub! He walks over to me when I'm on the floor and sticks his rear in my face ,tail held high. I'm expected to scratch the base of his tail and move forward until he's had enough.

Ally loves to be "kneeded" like dough! Although I have to remain alert, so I know when she has had enough!!

Tubby loves massages all over his body. He really doesn't care where, as long as you're paying attention to him. Peanut likes to be pet - on her terms - but the occassional tummy rub is as close to a massage as I've been able to give her. :)
