Need some help.

I was wondering what all I could do to get Felony used to walking on his leash? Bailee got it down pretty quickly, and even though I JUST got him, I've been putting it on him as much as possible and letting him drag it around the house....
But as soon as you put it on him for him to actually WALK somewhere, he pulls, and tugs, and then finally just lays down. :rolleyes:

I really don't want him to get used to being able to just follow me around somewhere without his leash on (in public). He hates his leash! :(

I would out wait him. He's gonna wanna get up eventually.......LOL

Make sure you use lots of yummy treats and fun toys. Make the leash a fun thing. Don't try to tug or pull him where you want to go, no matter how gently.

Use lots of praise, lure him, get him to chase a ball, whistle, clap your hands, talk in a squeeky voice, anything to get him up and interested in what you are doing. Don't give in and take the leash off when he lies down. Then he has won.
