I didn't look at the links anna posted, so sorry if this was included already. But one really helpful thing for you to learn would be the Siberian Husky breed standard (http://www.akc.org/breeds/recbreeds/sibhusk.cfm) .

Even if you do not yet know how to interpret it, just knowing what it says will make learning to interpret it that much easier. Good luck!

I don't know too much about show dogs but I've never heard anything like that. I thought that pretty much all colors and patterns are accepted in the breed standard. Blue eyes certainly are not bad, neither are bi-eyes or parti-eyes. It does seem to me though in pics of show huskies more seem to have brown eyes.

From the breed standard site I posted:

Eyes almond shaped, moderately spaced and set a trifle obliquely. Eyes may be brown or blue in color; one of each or parti-colored are acceptable. Faults--Eyes set too obliquely; set too close together.

And.......

Color
All colors from black to pure white are allowed. A variety of markings on the head is common, including many striking patterns not found in other breeds.

You have gotten some great info but I also suggest you speak w/ the breeder (or whoever you are taging along with) I am sure she will be more than happy to explain!
