Allen's Real Life Mommy!

Please meet Petunia (or as my uncle refers to her, Pudge)

She was running away, and my uncle called out "Food" and she stopped dead in her tracks. Ahhh, so the way to mommy's heart is through food! :)

Here she is realizing that food isn't forthcoming. Bey bye miss Petunia!

Doesn't he look like his mom? Complete to the little white tipped tail and swinging belly! The photo doesn't show her eye color well, but they were an amazing sea-greenish/blue. They were startling on an orangie. Allen must have gotten daddy's gold eyes ;)

I would have thought Petunia was a boy- it is very rare to find a girl who is so orange!
She's a beauty - and Allen has inherited that from her:)

No fooling! This is really his mom! Here's some more that my Uncle just e-mailed me... they make it even harder to believe its not Allen!

This is one that surprises me... she is getting high on fresh catnip pounded into an old sock. My uncle gave me some fresh catnip from his garden but I haven't put it into a sock yet. :) Allen's not much of a stoner, and they say that if your mom is a stoner, then you will be too...

Petunia is a very pretty lady. It's neat that you got to see pictures of Allen's mom.

I can see a lot of Allen in her face.

I would imagine her eye color is startling on an orangie. Scout's are yellowish gold. When we first got her my husband called her Scott Farkus for a while because she looked like the bully with yellow eyes in the movie "A Christmas Story".

Wow, like mother, like son!

It's always amazing to me to see cats and their parents or littermates. Sometimes they're so alike it's hard to tell them apart, and sometimes it's hard to believe they're related at all. But I guess it goes the same way with people, eh?
