Sticks, logs, and fun in the sun [[pics]]

Well I took a slew of pictures yesterday while out with the dogs. It was a pretty day, I threw a stick for Tasha to fetch for awhile and Tommy did his usual trotting around with his log and then chewing on it. Enjoy :)

David was working in the garden. He used copper pipes and chicken wire to make something for the beans and peas to climb.

My attempt at catching a shot of her jumping for sticks that I'm holding. It's a bit tricky to hold a camera and a stick and try to get a shot while making sure my fingers don't accidently get chomped :p

I think this one looks so cute. The wind was blowing a bit and he was trotting in the breeze.

The pictures are beautiful as always! Tommy and Tasha are favorites around here! ;) Bella said to tell them that she would LOVE to play twigs and stick with them! They would all wear themselves out for sure! :D (Gosh your lawn is beautiful! Ours is finally green but we have so many "pee spots." :o )

I know we used to have bad 'pee spots' in the yard with the collies when I was younger with my mom. I'm not sure if it's because we have a water softener here, or just their diet or what, but don't have that here much. Also with a big yard like this they have more spots to pick to go :p.

We have an underground well that the sprinkler system uses so we always have nice green looking grass. Even though we desperately need rain here.

It's funny, I can bring toys outside but when they are out, they always are more excited by various logs and sticks and such. I guess new textures and smells and tastes that they don't have inside. I just love watching them enjoy themselves out there :)

Hi T&T!!! What a fun day you guys had out in the yard, helping mom and dad:) Tommy, I can't think of you anymore without a log in your mouth:D What a beautiful golden boy you are. Those are so good! Those eyes of Tommy's in that first pic. They look so sad. And I love seeing pics of Tasha running. She looks so happy. Tommy looked very proud of his piece of log. Your grass is so pretty and green. You can really tell it's Spring now.

I love the pics of your two cute babies. Although I did do a double take on that first pic of Tommy trotting around with the log...I thought he was trotting around with a mallet! For a second, I thought "Hmm, so my parents' dog isn't the only one who tries to help with the handyman jobs (Jake fetches screwdrivers for my Dad)".:)

Garden plans are going well except we have had no rain really for weeks now. We are running our sprinkler system so things look pretty green in our yard but other places look pretty dead. Sure wish it would rain. We finally got a storm yesterday, but it was so brief, it hailed, then rained just a few minutes and then stopped. The ground dried right back up :(. The seedlings inside are doing well though so far :)
