Hi all,

Yet another dog food post...

I was wondering if any of you were using the Merrick canned dog foods (http://www.merrickpetcare.com/store/canned_dog_food.php) along with your dry dog food. Lefty has shown a definite preference for this food, and it definitely looks and smells more like human food for me (in other words, if I were forced to eat dog food, I'd go for this stuff).

I looked at the ingredient list and it all looks good, but since I never heard about this dog food in the dog food discussions, I wondered if there was something I should know.

Hope all is well.

Sharyl

It is a good food, but for that price online, it's not worth it. Cheaper just to make your own lol.

I noticed it was very expensive online as well. It's a lot cheaper at the store, but still more expensive than Wellness or Nutro by about $.10. And, I get four meals per can with this stuff (I add it to his dry dog food for flavor), where I get five with a can of Wellness. So I'm definitely spending more with this stuff, but Lefty likes it SO much better!

lol Nutro can't hold a candle to Wellness or Merrick.
