We have our hates, but which ones do you love?

I love the washing machine. I'd hate to wash my clothes by the river with rocks :)

I'd love a chrome KitchenAid. And blender.

It is a toss-up between my rice cooker and bread maker. I use both at least 2-3 times a week.

I wish I had a dishwasher!!! Or a garbage disposal!!

I love my oven. It is ancient, and huge!! It has two oven and room to work on top next to the four burners. It came with the house and is honestly so old it was made when Frigadare was part of General Motors! When it dies I know we will not be able to find another that fill that same space and will have to try and adda narrow cabinet or something.

If you consider the alternative to not having a washer and dryer - the river rock thing - ugh - I'd have to say they are some of my favorites, but my absolute all time favorite is the dishwasher. :)

Me too, Rubymutt!!! :) One of our good Pet Talk friends gave us a KitchenAid mixwer for a wedding gift. OMG!!! I don't bake often enough to suit my family, but when I do, it is SO much easier!!!! Sure beats the heck out of the 20 year old hand mixer I had been using!!!!

I am grateful for many of my conveniences, but this is the one I love the most!!! :)

Followed by my food processor....both big and mini..

Don't have a dryer or a dishwasher, quite happy without them too!:D But I would be lost without my washing machine. I didn't have one for a while, some years back, and I have never forgotten how awful it was. :)

I'd have to say dishwasher. I grew up without one and had to hand wash dishes every day. Having the dishwasher is such a luxury. When I moved into this house it was the first time I had ever had one. :)

I just have to say the dishwasher. Mine is a Kitchenaid and all of those stories about cleaning off the grunge is TRUE.

It is so wonderful to be able to just hide those dirty dishes until you have a full load and then wash them.

I have never had a disposal - and I really don't miss it - and my kitchen sink has never stopped up.

My next favorite would have to be the washing machine. Nothing like going to the laundromat can wreck a lovely Saturday morning.

i love allllll my appliances!!! except i have never been happy with the vacumn cleaners i have had......none of them do what i think they should do well. i finally bought one of those tank-type thingys that most people use in the garage.....sorta shop-type thingy......i use it in the house too......it is just great.....just empty it out when needed.....no bags.....the best part is there is great suction so cat hairs and dust and just general stuff just disappears when i use it......the lack of necessary suction was always my biggest complaint.....no longer.....it think the shop vacumn works great inside the house.

Depends on what time of the day you ask me this. If it's morning, it's got to be the coffee maker! Afternoon, the refrigerator and evening, the washer/dryer.

It would have to be the dishwasher. I had never had one before we moved to this house. There are only two of us and I had never felt the need. The previous owners had had one though, so there was a space in the kitchen. Eventually we decided to buy a dishwasher and it has just been wonderful!

Last night though I put it on, and when I went back to the kitchen a little later it was making a funny noise and there was an electrical burning smell. I think my dishwasher is broken! Disaster! I'm going to have to take the whole load out and wash it by hand.
