Hi All, I actually made it back, at least for a short time anyway.:)

Work has been keeping me super busy and when I get home I just want to sit. I haven't even booted my home PC for a week. Which is really unusal for me.

Anyway, beyond work being really busy, life has been pretty good for me.:)

Now onto the important news, the kitties.

Bob has been doing well, although he gained a bunch of weight. He is now tipping the scales at almost 19lbs. Just for a comparison, his ideal weight is a little over 16lbs. I knew he was getting a little heavy, but OMG!!! Well needless to say, we have switched to a local dry food.:)

We have been able to switch because Joey has been doing so well.:) She has not had an episode of being sick since January. Since that time I have switched her to a new wet food and she did really well. So we switch to a new dry lo cal food for Bob and she is still doing well with that. We have had a few hairballs, but that is pretty normal around here.

So it looks like the second vet was right and Joey was just sensitive to the food that we were feeding her.

Beyond that they are both doing great and getting along pretty good. So all is well in kitty land.:D

That is about it. I will really try to make it back more often then once a month, but I am not going to make any promises because work does not look like it will ease for another 2 months or so. However, I will really try.:)

Here are a couple of pictures of the kids to get you thorugh.:)

Lo Cal and local are so different!! LOL!!!! I was confused at first, but then I "got" it. Hope you undertstand and know that I am just joking!!! Ha Ha!!

It's good to see you and to know that Bob and Joey are doing well, even if there is a weight issue with Bob. Luckily, I don't have that with Mimi or Butter, but I am lucky, for sure. My cat, Shrimp Boat, who was the predecessor to Mimi was quite overweight at 15 pounds (a lot for her small frame), and it was a nightmare to try to diet her!!! Best of luck in all regards.

Bryan, I was just thinking about you yesterday! But I remembered you said you were going to be buried with work. Happy to hear everything is going so well with Bob and Joey. Happy to hear from you too.

Great pictures! I hope you are going to have time to stay around with us. You are really missed when you are gone!

Good to see you back! Those are adorable pictures too, I especially love the one of Bob and Joey cuddling on the chair together. They seem like they love their home, and I love how you covered one of them up with the blanket, I do that too! Hehe. Glad to know the "kids" are doing well! :D
