Boone is an old Golden boy rescued by his mom some years ago from an abusive situation. You can read his story if you vote for him at:
http://www.greatgoldens.com/Contest/contest_seniors_entries.htm
It only takes a click of the mouse on his picture to vote. His complete name is "Boone Poslok"
He has to be in first place in order to win a ramp to get in the car; he recently had a heart attack . At his age nothing is easy so he needs all the help we can give him. You can vote daily until the end of the month.

Thanks.

I voted for him too, although I must say it was hard to choose. There were so many to choose from it was hard to decide. Geez, I'm such a wimp....so many of the stories make me cry. I hate hearing about abuse to animals, how they had rough lives, etc. I just wish the world were a better place sometimes.
Best of luck and I hope you get what you need!!! :)

Boone is way behind. He was in third place for a while but now he doesn't appear to be even close. So, on behalf of this sweet senior, thanks for your votes and keep on clicking.;)
If you can share the link with friends, family or anybody you can think of, I'm sure Boone will send you many loving smiles.

These sites are so hearbreaking and at that same time, it's wonderful knowing how very loved these seniors are:) I'm voting from 2 mails daily for Boone and have sent the link to my non Pet Talk friends:) There is one Labbie who is dying from a brain tumor; that was so sad:( We're rooting for you precious Boone!!! Don't give up; we've still got 1/2 month to go!

Freckles,
Boone decided to give all his votes to the memory of his good friend Chief, gone to the Bridge. He's a very generous, sweet old boy.
That's why you see that message.
You can still vote for two other dogs a day, besides Chief, if you want.

It is incredibly generous of so many of these folks who had entered their own pets, to honor Chief. :( Makes me sad that the sweet boy has passed to the RB.
