We are doing this research project in Language Arts (the teacher who hates me) lol.

I need to find a good person to do. and im running out of time, because she is keeping a list of all the people, on who they are searching.

I orignally signed up fo Jack Hannah. You know, the guy who has the amazing zoos, and all the animals. But im having a hard time searching on him in books.

I need to find a new person. My dad sugessted Elvis Presley. Im kinda thinking about going with that, because I know about him & ive been to his house. and my mom suggested Amelia Airhart(sp) and Princess Diana.

Do any of you have any good famous people?
I appreciate it, alot! Thanks! :)

Amelia Earhart attended the same college I did, Purdue University. (Although, she went there a few years before I did. ;) ) She was an interesting person.

Juliette Gordon Lowe -- she founded the Girl Scouts. A fascinating woman. Eleanor Roosevelt and I agree with your mother's choice of Amelia Earhart.

My daughter did a huge report on Oprah... she's actually pretty interesting - and a big plus is that she loves animals.

History to the present day is full of fascinating people!

Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross, was born up the street from where I grew up.

How about Temple Grandin? She grew up autistic, and thinks that has helped her in understanding animals. Fascinating person who has done amazing things.

How about James Herriot? Vet and beloved author ...

What do you have to do? Write a paper and present it verbally, or just write a paper?

You should check out Dr Paul Farmer. :) He's pretty inspiring. And, he's famous enough. Even if no one else in your class would have heard of him. :)
