first off:! the bedding!!!! i was searching the petco website and found this bedding... Bedding :) !!!click me!!! I don't currently have any hamsters, but I use to. Now I have 3 mice. I've never used that bedding, I use Carefresh and I like that a lot.

First of all, fluffy bedding it a huge no no for hamsters! Hamsters like to stuff there cheeks, and if they stuff it with this they choke.
So do not use this stuff.

The type of bedding that You should use is aspen bedding. its the best kind to use. It sfae, and comfy for them.

As for cages I would get a 10 gallon aquarium with a lid. Its the safest. Wire cages can be good, but hamsters are escape artist and can chew through anything. So go with the aquarium.
