We're back after our lack of computer for the last month. Alot has happened so i will go through dog by dog and give an update.

Clover, well i thought we were going to lose Miss Clover last week *Friday* Mum went to put the little dogs out side for a potty break and found Clover all stiff and struggling to breath outside she had not been her usual self since Tuesday morning and i should have gotton her to the Vets then but wanted to wait it out a little longer.

Mum and i thought she had been poisoned  as she could not walk. The Vets verdict "She has a back problem give her pain killers for the next 8 days and she will be fine"" Uh no, there was nothing wrong with her back she was wrestling and jumping around the next day. well it turned out being Gastro and severe stomach cramps (Why she was all stiff and could not walk)
All is well now and my girl is back to normal.

Elvis, Oh where do i start he is great. We graduate from puppy Obedience in 3 weeks (He will be 6 months old) and hopefully we will get into advance Obedience (Has not been done by a puppy at our dog club yet) i am hoping Elvis will make it a first ;) :D

Uh we have been travelling alot for Flyball and so that means lots of socialising and getting to go camping and go on day trips which Elvis loves. He was terribly upset when Clover was sick though and would not leave her side.

Also my little man was booked in to be neutered 2 weeks ago but we had to postpone it as no-one was going to be able to baby sit the day after and Elvis could not be left alone. I am going to rebook him in for next week.

Penny is the same old spoiled brat of a dog as usual and so is Theodore but they are happy. But the weather has gone realy cold and the poor lil munchkins are feeling it so its out with the Winter woolies again. *Yay*

Other than the above i dont think anything else has happened.

Good to be back though :D

Oh that had to be so frightening about Clover. I bet you were just beside yourself.

I remember years ago one time my RB collie Willie started to limp a bit. I couldn't find anything wrong with his back leg. We kept a close watch on him for another day, but the limp rapidly got worse. We were alarmed and puzzled, made an appointment at the vet, but within a few hours, he could hardly walk, seemed depressed and weak.

To make a long story short, the vet found him to have Lyme's disease. This was just before the vaccination came out. He got medicine, but still had a chance of not recovering. Before he started to get better, he got paralyzed from the mid-back down. We had to hold him up to potty and such. It was one of the most frightening things. :(. He did fully recover though.

That vet shouldn't have just assumed it was a sore muscle or something minor like that. Something small can suddenly turn into something really big. Most dogs dont' start really showing discomfort until it's something already pretty serious.

I'm sure glad Clover is ok, and it's good to see you back on PT :)
