I got this new kennel for the cats and Amy rufused to go near it. I made a special fleece pillow but it was green and she would not go near it still. I put the BIG bed in there and it was way TO big but Giz enjoyed it....

SO, I go back to Hancocks and they have one more 1 1/2 yard piece of the kitty/fish fleece so I bought what they had left... While working on it, I went ahead and made a cover for the open top and openn back so they would have more privacy... Set it on the floor and IN Amy goes.... (This is one of the best shots of her face that I have ever got, she is never still for me to get a good one)

And, on their perch at the window, they want to wish everybody a Happy Easter since they will be going to their "other" home this week-end. (time for me to go back to work next week)

Aww! Cute kitty pics! LOVE the beds! I had to go hunting on Google to see what I could find on cat's eyes. I think this one says it best:

Well then, Maybe I am not as crazy as everyone around here seems to think I am... (NOT on PT'ers but friends and relatives)

"Rumors aside, cats are not colorblind. Their ability to see color is not as enhanced as ours, but they can see some colors. " (From that sight.)

Thanks for that sight, interesting stuff on there..

Well, it looks like she's been watching too many Trading Spaces episodes... she knows that she can't see her room until its all done being redecorated! And from the looks of it, the designer did a fabulous job.

I love Amy's contented face when you're all done.

Amy is such a sweet pathetic little sweetheart that I will do anything for her, whatever it takes to make her little life easier, happier or more secure... I WILL DO! Her problem seems to get worse as she grows and the mornings are the worse on her when the house is chilled.....so I cut the heater on for her and I can tell it makes her feel better with some heat. I have even pulled out a heating pad (in the winter months) for her. The THINGS we don't do for our kitties but with her you are glad to go that extra mile if she needs or wants anything. She loved that real big kennel so much that I am tempted to go get it back.. You just have to "experience" her to understand how I feel about her. Such a "EXTRA Special" little girl!!!

Laura is right , Cats can tell certain colors apart , and can distinguish shapes , as they need to , to be able to land wher they want. Great Cat Photos! Happy Easter!
