Here it is!
Here's my review:
I HAD A BLAST!!
Loved Jimmy Wayne & Lonestar.. while I waited for them to start, I went to buy a t-shirt, and I got a nice one. It's white, with the picture from the Greatest Hits album (front cover) and it says "Lonestar" on it, and has the updated tour dates on the back. I really like it.
Jimmy almost made me cry..with "Paper Angels"..there was a little girl that he brought up.. her dad wanted a pic of her w/ him, and Jimmy told her to sit down on the floor, he was being so sweet with her.. and he just sang the song and I was like "Oh no... hold back! don't cry!" lol.. I DO not cry in public. After he finished the song, he asked the girl to bow down and that was too cute.. and she hugged him twice and went back to her dad. So, I only got to see Jimmy perform 4 songs.. then it was time.. (I was happy I got to see Jimmy!)
So, I went w/ others to meet Lonestar.. and guess who walked by.. (Shanda *A friend of mine who LOVES Jimmy Wayne*, you will slap me.) JIMMY WAYNE! I didn't have my letter with me, so I was like "Hey!" and he said "hey!" back.. and he was on his way to do some autographs at the merch. table.. I guess, next time, I'll try to get my pic taken with him, somehow! LOL
THEN few minutes later.. guess who comes across.. Keech! He waved at us..Then it was Richie.. Richie tip-toed across.. LOL.. then Mike smiled .. then Dean did this little dance across... then when it was my turn.. I was probably the 7th person to meet them, I walked in to meet the guys and I told them who I was and if they remembered me.. Richie made a face like he knew me from somewhere but couldn't put a finger to it, so I said: I saw you guys in Lakewood, Ohio, and you brought me up onstage... and they did.. and I showed them pictures and told them that they could sign those..and Dean asked me if I wanted anything specific signed on those.. and I told him it didn't matter.. whatever they wanted to write. They really liked the pictures, loved how they turned out! Keech noticed something in his pic... and goes "That's Richie!" and he started laughing and showed Richie the picture, of him goofing off behind my back! Richie smiled and shook his head at the picture and looked at me. They are so easy to talk to! I told them that I was hearing impaired, and had a cochlear implant, and got that like 4-5 years ago.. and ever since, been into country music.. and Richie decides to be goofy! Richie goes "Ok, should I like, turn up the sound UP so you can hear better?" I go "No, It's good." Richie says, "ARE you sure? I can do that.. turn it up.. or down? So you can hear?" I go "Yes, I'm positive" and I was laughing, and he goes "Oooooookay" LOL! They were all looking at me, and I was just so comfortable talking. I handed Lonestar my letter, told them that I had some stuff down in there for them, since it had more things I wanted to tell them.. and Dean goes "Wow, that's so nice of you to do that!" and I told him that I wanted to do that, just as a thank you sort of thing. I told them that how I got into their music, and it was because of my brother.. and I told them THANKS for playing great music and I'm glad that I became a fan.. and they were very nice about it! Then I had my picture taken with them, they all gathered around me, I was between Richie and Dean, and Keech was on the right end and Mike was on the left end.. I think, or they could have just gathered around me anyway. (I don't know, I'll see what the picture looks like when I get it later!)
Concert time! They sang a lot of songs: Front Porch Lookin' In, Come Cryin' to Me, Runnin' Away with my Heart, You Walked In, Everything's Changed, Walkin' in Memphis, With Me, I'm Already there, Not a Day Goes By, Amazed.. No News.. What about Now.. hm basically all the songs off Greatest Hits.. They also did Tequila Talkin' by request! It was so good to hear that song. They did some cover songs.. I remember they did Margaritaville.. but I can't remember the others.. but they were great at it! When Richie sang some of the songs, he hit a high note and stayed at it and Dean would "time" him.. that was funny. Dean saw me, and remembered where I was sitting since I told the guys where I was going to be at, and he pointed at me and smiled and waved at my mom. That was cool! My mom got tickled about it. Richie had 2 girls come up to sing "Piano Man" so they could get the free CD, but one girl backed out and she went offstage and Richie goes "Hey! Come back here! C'mon!" and another girl from the audience, yelled out that she'd come up and replace her.. that she was her cousin! And.. she was pretty good! Something funny happened - They teased Keech because he looked like Harry, from dumb and dumber LOL! It was hilarious, Keech kept denying it, but he gave up.. it was 3 to 1, what are the odds of winning? Hehe. Keech was really in a good mood and he smiled a lot, same thing with Mike, he was laughing a lot, but he was quiet for most of the time. There were a bunch of girls in the left side next to me who kept yelling, screaming, and I think that kind of really made me get ticked off.. I wanted to HEAR them talk, but they screamed and so I couldn't really hear Richie talk. One girl wanted to go up onstage, and Keech shook his head and Dean did the same thing, and Richie didn't pay attention to them, I think they got on their nerves.. the screaming part. :rolleyes:
Security was actually a little bit tight after when they were singing "No News".. one of the security guy was tough about it, and he wouldn't let others come up closer to get any pictures, so he shooed them back to their seats. They were taking so many pictures and flashes were going off, and I think that bothered Lonestar a little bit, they were trying to talk/sing. Now I gotta tell ya this, when I saw them back in Nov. we HAD NO security people, so.. I was kind of surprised but last night's concert was a lot different and it was so much fun! The guys posed for pictures, a lot, and they came off the stage and sat down with some fans in the right side of us, and Richie kept hugging the fans and he goes "I gotta go sing!" and runs off and jumps on the stage. I think they posed for me twice, but I know I got some good pictures, hopefully they turn out! I think I took a goofy picture of them posing for someone and I happened to get it, so I hope! I plan seeing them again in JULY.. for the 3rd time, and maybe I might get a meet n' greet, but I don't know, though. I have 3 more opportunities to meet them.. I am so thankful I got to meet them twice! :)
