Squid died at the age of 12 from colon cancer in 2001. We had hoped he'd live to a ripe old age and we miss him every day.

My goodness! I had no idea Felicia and Beau were so old! I thought they were mere youngsters like most of the others here. ;) :D

Tubby is about to turn 18 in the next month or so and Peanut us about 15 1/2. I don't know their exact birthdates or even birth months. These are estimates based on how old they were when I got them. :)

We've had Katie for 12 years now. She was a rescue.
Mooky will be 2 years old on July 24th.
Chipper is 10 months old.
We've had Buddy for just over 10 years. He was rescued off the streets.

Miss Julie is about 1 year old. She was a rescued kitten so we don't know her exact age. Our vet estimated her at being about 4 mos. old last Aug., so I figure she was born about last May...give or take a little.

My son and our dog were both May babies so they all celebrate their birthdays together.

Abby is 7 or 8. The guy I got her from swore up and down she was over a year old when he gave her up, but my vet said she thought she was 9 months or so.

Hanna is almost 2. It seems like just yesterday she was a skinny, sick little kitten. Now she's a big, playful cat!

Beau and Trevor share the same birth date! :) At least that's the day we chose based on a guess from the vet when he went for his first visit as a 2 lb. kitten and we have celebrated on that date each year. Trevor turned 11 on 3/15/04.

Andy's birth date is known as I got him from a woman who had brought him to a yard sale and her boss owned his mom. Andy will be 8 years old on 4/4/04.

Lucky - vet estimated him to be between 3-5 (stray I found in October 2003)
Kitty - 16+ (we found him as a stray in April 1989, he was fully grown then, so 16 is the minimum he could be)

Rudy - died 7/19/01, one month shy of 18

I am so excited to be here - I love my kitties so much! I will post some pictures of them soon.

Diane Hi Artemis welcome to the gang at Pet Talk! I have a tuxedo cat who is 3, and a tortishell kitty who is 1. My siamese cat Thai, I had put to sleep at the age of 22!!;)

Diane I forgot to say in my last reply that Nikki is my tuxedo and Daisy is my tortie. If you look at the cat rescue section of Pet Talk, you'll see a couple pictures of Nikki!
