I got a blank book as a gift recently. actually I got 3 of them. They're really pretty - they have silk covers with embroydered butterflys and dragonflys on them.

The problem is that I don't know what to do with them! I've always wondered what people do with blank books, and now that I have some I feel like I should use them for something. lol. What do you do with a blank book? Any suggestions?

Oh send them my way! I do two things with them... those without any lines become a sketch book for ideas I have. The other become journals. I love journals. I have an attic full of them from the time I was ten. I love to go back and read them, especially my teen years because it helps me understand my own kids now.

Thanks catnapper,
Firstly, I love your new sig! ^_^

Secondly, hmm... sketchbook and journals. I tried keeping a journal when I was 11. I wrote stupid stuff in it though, lol. Sketchbook might be cool. I usually just draw on scrap paper, and I never save anything I draw. But I suppose I could. :)

You could also paste/ tape things into them and use them as scrap books. :)

That's a cool idea too Kay. :) Or maybe both - drawings and a scrap book.
