Ok so what gets your cat to act crazy?

Peaches absolutely loves shrimp. We keep a bag of cooked, shelled shrimp in the freezer so we can take a few out and thaw them for her. This is an unretouched photo of her when she smelled the shrimp:

LOL!!! I had a cat named "Shrimp Boat", once, and very appropriately named!!! I found her as a small kitten at a seafood market at the beach, where she had been "dumped" with another kitten. I was leaving the beach after a week's vacation that day, and I stopped to buy some seafood to take home. There she was, sitting there eating a jelly doughnut!!! When I petted her and started asking about her, the guy told me that she had been there for about a week, and that she just "fit in" with them, had even gone out on the Shrimp Boat a few times with them (thus her name). For all the time she was with me, she loved the smell and taste of seafood, from the opening of a can of tuna to boiled shrimp and grilled fish! We always gave her a little bit to enjoy!!!

We have been calling her Bubba Gump because of the thrill she gets from shrimp. I think she'd probably be in nirvana if she lived on a shrimp boat.

Peaches will clean up every molecule of shrimp too...

there was no "Bubba Gump" when I found Shrimp Boat in 1984, but it would have been a perfect name for her!!! :D I lost her in 1989, sadly, long story, but she was a precious girl to me and will always be in my heart. :( :( :(

She is a tiny cat weighing in at 6 pounds (2.7 kg) and her eyes are normally large in comparison to her small head but when she sees a shrimp she gets bug-eyed and starts squeaking. Like most Abys, she doesn't say much until something is important to her.

Peaches is so pretty with her big eyes. She looks like a "doll".
Costello doesn't make much sound either, only when there food coming up. He's even quiet when he fights with Tess (she's not!).

Oh, that picture of Peaches is priceless. Looks like she can hardly believe it!! :eek: What a beauty she is!!

Costello's look is just like Fisters' when I give him a chicken stick. He likes to lick them like a lollypop first, before he bites a chunk off. I also got some of those dried fish once, but Fister was not that impressed. :rolleyes: Costello is such a cutie! :)

Alice brought up an interesting point. When Mango and Peaches are wrestling there's not a squeak or growl from either of them. All you hear is the flopping noise they create as they body-slam each other!

Peaches is a beautiful kitty!!! Meanwhile, my two both have delicate tummies and can ONLY eat the science diet delicate tummies formula. ANYTHING else makes them go yuk. Luckily, they love those little kibbles, but never make faces like that .. lol/

That picture of Peaches is just adorable. I just spent some time at the Mango site and did so enjoy all the pictures of Mango, Peaches and Bubbles, too! Aby's are becoming more and more intriguing to me! Such adorable little creatures!!! It amazes me how they like to ride on the shoulders of their people:)
