all day Saturday. He only went to his garage workshop and came in with this neat kitty condo tree! It is a 4x4 with plywood shelves covered with some extra carpet we had. The trio immediately knew it was for THEM. Of course, what is NOT for them?? Anyway, here are a few pictures from last night.
Eliot and Dylan were the first to try it out..

Eliot is the climber of the bunch and made it quickly to the highest perch...

Hey! What is my favorite toy doing here??

Emily decided the condo was just a stepping off spot to the top of our shranks. We had to rescue her later because she could NOT get down!!

This teaser toy is everyone's favorite!!

That's it! It has already been a huge hit and they love it. During the night we heard the teasers jingling and the sounds of happy playing:D

The cradle you see is also one of his projects - will hold my new grandbaby, Misha - due in August - Devon and Missy's niece:D :D

Wow, your hubby is really talented.
Great cat tree and the cradle is beautiful.

It's obvious that your cats gave the new tree a thumbs up.
Great pictures of them enjoying it.

Wow, that's a great kitty condo, I'm very impressed! They sure seem to enjoy it immensely. :D Hopefully Emily will learn to stay on the condo - or to get herself down again. LOL!

Your hubby deserves to get spoiled this week! ;)

When I saw "hubby left me" I thought you must have gone and gotten one too many cats ;) (even though I don't think any husband would REALLY leave for that reason, they just allow you to believe that) :D

Love the cat tree!!!!!!!!!

It is just very heavy, balanced and sturdy. The 4x4 gives it the stability plus a large and sturdy base that you can't see.:D Plus, none of the shelves really extend out very far from the center.

Ohio really isn't that far away from me here Pennsylvania... do you think he'd make a weekend visit to make me a wonderful cat tree too? I have some spare carpet and tools.... please share him!

I love the cradle, your hubby sure is a handy guy to have! Looks like he's a keeper!

Did Dad have a pattern? Jason wants to make one now! Not that my kitties DESERVE it... they're both on my "bad kitty" list for whomever has been secretly making my bedroom their bathroom... but I digress. What a fun toy! Marsha'd love to get in the little pavillion and get away from brubby, I'm sure:)

hello! Hello? Hello! Can I borrow him (your husband)? What a terrific guy! You better treat that guy to extra special "treats" for that!

I have been wanting one for my babies so bad but I am afraid Amy would fall off of it and hurt herself and Chester is so big that one good leap and it would go tumbeling across the room! He is NOT a graceful leeper!

What a great cat tree is that! :) Mine would love to have such a thing.

I bet your kitties have so much fun with that tree!

Was also worried when I read the subject line, until I noticed the smiley.. :)
