ATTENTION!! Welcome to Japan Party scheduled!! Next Weekend!!

In honor of the arrival of Sirrabed to Japan, Boomer has graciously decided to throw a party!
It will begin on Saturday the 20th and go until the momentum ends!
He has also decided to pay for ALL air fare for all you adventure loving kitties out there!
There will be an all- you can eat sushi bar that's open 24/7! None of this twice a day feeding stuff for this weekend!:) For those kitties with tummies of questionable integrity there will also be the most savory of cooked ham, chicken, and beef! Jet lag is a horrible thing, so there will be comfy beds and countless places to curl up for a quick (or long) nap. There will be Temptations eating contests as well as nip rolling contests!- who can roll in the nip the longest without dozing off into a stoned slumber? All further ideas for party events are being excepted. Please come and help Boomer and I welcome Sirrahbed for her trip to Japan!!:D :D :D :D Japan's time zone is 14 hours ahead of the east coast of the USA, so plan accordingly to get your kit's here on time!

When greater thought was put into the matter, Boomer has decided to go ahead and charter a group of private jets to pick up party-goers so as to avoid having to use carriers on silly old passenger jets. All jets will be outfitted with comfortable beds and plenty of windows. Flight Attendants will be required to go through a serious of rigorous tests to ensure that they are capable and willing to provide proper care and attention to visitors for the entire 16 hour plane trip! Cat-TV will play the entire flight with flies being released every now and then to satisfy the drive to hunt! Stay tuned for more information!

My goodness I mentioned this to Speckles but she said she was still worn out from Gary's parteeee. She ain't as young as she used to be so she apologizes but cannot attend. I promised her I would pick up some local sushi to make her feel better.

Well seeing as how T & P missed Gary's party, and Tubby just got such great results on his blood test, I've decided to allow them to visit Japan. It sounds like first class accomodations all the way....except Tubby was wondering if he could bring his new friend Boxie (the Boxer puppy). He said even though a lot of kitties might not approve, the puppy was so bouncy and happy go lucky that a few hisses and swats shouldn't bother him at all.

And Peanut is wondering how do you say Ah-so in kitty language. ;) :D

How long have you been in Japan and away from home? You must be so excited to be seeing Mom again, and I'm sure Mom is as excited to be seeing you again too. It must be horrible to have one of your babies not even half way around the world, but ALL the way around the world! :eek: I know you're going to have a great time and seeing as how you got that new camera and all, we'll be expecting lots of pics and maybe a video or two also. ;) :D

I'm sorry that she can not attend, she will definately be missed. I'll be sure to have the charter jet stop off and deliver some authentic Japanese sushi on the day of the party!

While most of the games and events are directed towards the feline palate, Boomer sees no problem with animals of other species attending, so long as they don't try to eat him or anything:D Boomer hasn't a clue how to speak in Japanese kitty language:rolleyes: He's still caught up on how short their little tails are:D (Japanese breeds generally have little tails) I have been living in Japan since last May:) I miss my parents horribly but am sooooo excited for them to come over so I can see them and show off my home:) (I've even learned to cook a little bit since coming over here)


I forgot to mention that Boxers are my hunny's favorite type of dog:) We're thinking of getting a boxer puppy once we get back to the states

Well, before I settled down and became a secretary I was a flight attendant.....so could I volunteer to be an attandant on one of the flights.....

oh, and you can could one Tigger, Smokey, Mystic and Abner to come, unfortunately Tucker does not feel that she can make that long of a trip so she will be there is "spirit". I guess that is what happens when your like over 100 years old;)

Tigger says she is on the lookout for a good looking boyfriend.

Mystic says she will be at the sushi bar until the sun goes down.

Abner wants to meet some of the Naw-Tee kitties that he has heard so much about.

And last but not least, Smokey wants to know if you could have some Turkey at the party....it is his favorite...and he wants me to let you know that he will eat off the floor...that way it gets a good cleaning at the same time...free of charge of course. :o

Oh, Juni and Pichu are happy to attend the party, though they are sad that Filou and Tigris are not able to attend it for a very serious reason.

Juni has never been in Japan, but she got a present from my cousin (a very big cat lover) that works in Japan. She hopes to see her too. Pichu says that he has good eyes for Japan (I love his almond-shaped eyes) :)

Count Grover in, she is really ready for another party!! She is all excited about it, she has never ate sushi and she is really looking forward to trying something new. She is so excited, she wants to see Gary's found cats again. It will be a real treat for her going to Japan.

So count on flying by SC to pick up two willing participants in this great feline party!!! :) :)

Rizzo wants to come! He thinks I'm sheltering him too much, and he demands to be allowed to socialize in the outside world like all the rest of the kids. ;)

He has two questions: 1) Is there a dress code? He wants to know if he should get his stripes in order and comb his ruff.

2) He wants to know if his stuffed seal friend, Sauxus, can come too. He doesn't want to go anywhere without his "brother."

He's a little nervous about flying, since he hates car rides so much. But I'm sure that if he's sufficiently spoiled by the staff, he'll be fine!

He wasn't excited about the food options at first, since he's never had sushi before and he's a VERY picky eater. But I explained that, in some cases, it's just another way to eat tuna, and now he's packing a knife and fork!

I think he's excited about meeting a lot of eligible lady cats...he keeps asking me to pick up some catnip cologne. :rolleyes:

I can personally assure you that any requests for food will be promptly looked into. This is an island! There will be plenty of tuna and any other sort of fish you can think of!! Private chauffers will be on hand to pick up each passenger and escort them to their respective jets- no need to bother with getting yourself to a crowded and noisy airport.

Sades- All lamps and other appliances will be glued/stapled/duct taped down so that there will be no fear of futher destructive action- run around to your hearts content! that is- if you can be good long enough fo ryour meowmie to let you go!!

OK Mom!! I won't make you eat sushi:rolleyes: :D :D no promises for Paul's behavior though- he's convinced that everyone must try it at least once!
Tigger- There will be PLENTY of available men to choose from and Boomer would like me to point out that all cuddle spots on the planes will be big enough for two;)
Smokey- Boomer is very impresses with your offer to "clean the floor" as he says that his meowmie doesn't keep it nearly clean enough. There will be plenty of turkey!
The doorbell will not be operational on the day of the party- everyone may just come right in!
Pouncer- we do have two beanbag chairs and Boomer wanted me to point out to you also that they are quite big enough for two- perhaps he is trying to help him get close to Lily if she attends!
Juni and Pichu- there are few more beautiful places than here, we do hope you enjoy yourselves!
Our chauffers will stop by to see if the E's wish to attend, there will certainly be a few stylish hats and some temptations to provide a little inticement if you would like:)

People drive very differently here than in the states. Everything moves MUCH quicker, and if you aren't practically right on top of the car ahead of you you will get run over!! It's funny though because when people DO cut you off, they are at least polite about it and briefly turn on their emergency blinkers to thank you:) I hope that none of the kitties will get frightened on the ride from the jets to my appartment! Just remember to expect the unexpected and watch out for motorcyclists because they don't have to stay in the proper traffic lanes and can pass you on any side they choose at any time. It's really scary when they pass you on the left just as you begin making a left turn:eek: :eek: :eek: :D

Prince William would like me to inform you that his royal self, Duke Percy and Count Norman will be attending the Japan party. Prince William is especially keen to meet your mom, since she promised in another thread, a BIG SMOOCHIE KISS on his forhead. He wants to collect.
Duke Percy is an accomplished world traveller and is looking forward to another visit to Japan. He loves sushi (or as he calls it, fish on the hoof) and saki. Please don't let him drive anywhere - he's a notorious lead-paw and will get himself arrested.
Count Norman has only travelled by car across the US, so he needs to sort out his passport before leaving.
They will be taking the Prince's personal jet - there is room for 2 other passengers if there are any takers.
Tiger and Pippin are staying home with Mom as Dad is in Oklahoma for a month for training. They don't want her to be alone and promised Dad they would take care of her.

Anyone excited? It's currently Thursday night here, so the jets should be leaving to travel to the states soon. I do hope that the USA passengers will be ready by Friday morning US time so that they can arrive by Saturday Evening Japan time!!:) My home is almost prepared for the herd of wild felines:p all car keys will be well hidden so that Mario and Sipo will not be tempted to try to drive on the crazy Japanese streets! All felines are warned not to try to get too cuddly with the male human in the house as he has bad allergies and is not yet "enlightened" enough to realize the truth of feline superiority:eek: :D

I think he will be properly "enlightened" after a week with all the sweet kitties that he will be surrounded with. They can't help but melt his heart....and you might want to stock up on Claritin for his allergies. ;) :D

T & P are all packed and ready to go! I got home a little later than usual last night, and they were both waiting at the front door, wondering where the limo was to take them to their plane. I told them it wasn't quite time yet and they'd have to wait just a little longer. They both went moping back to their beds to take a nap. Maybe time goes faster when you're napping? :rolleyes: :D

*yawn* it is 7:30 Saturday morning and I have gotten up to begin giving Boomer his beauty treatment:) my mom and dad are currently somewhere over Canada on their way to fly waaayyyy up towards the North pole and then come back down to land on my little island:) I hope that all of the kitties are enjoying their flights. I got a call from one of the attendants on the in-flight phones (terribly expensive things!!) saying that things were going well. She said that there was a certain primate that kept trying to take her name tag- does he like shiny things? She also commented that she has fallen practically head over heels for two of the sweetest little girl kitties she has ever seen. She said that one was wearing a beautiful little Japanese outfit and the other was mumbling something about "Mr Happy" (or something similar) I can only imagine that she is referring to Mitzi and Peanut, how sweet:) well anyway, I must get myself ready to take the long drive to the airport (3 hours!!!!) but don't worry, there will be plenty of carefully selected local cat lovers to take care of any kitties that arrive before I get home with the guests of honor.

Sipoweitz distracts people so Mario can get some prettys and goodies to eat and drink. I told Sunny to watch those two for Tray and me.

Most are stuffed with food and a little high on nip. Perhaps if things continue as they are, everyone will be too stoned to participate in the nip rolling contest. Gary's cats have already polished off ALL the Wkiska's Temptations!!So, I ordered more that should be delivered SOON.

I told Lovable that I didn't think he should travel again so soon, especially after he came home with that Canadian catnip. But I can't find him this morning and his little travel bag is gone and so is one of my credit cards. :eek:

Fister is so mad at me, I simply forgot to tell him about this party. :( He wants to go NOW!

I wonder if he sneaked on PT during the last few days and saw this thread, he's been chattering away about something during the last few nights - and the other day, I caught him on the kitchen table trying to get some slices of raw liver! He was in fact in the process of packing some of it on the floor!! :eek: Now I know why! I did tell him it won't keep, so yesterday he had a go with some raw fish - as if that's is any better. :rolleyes: Now, he's frantically searching for one his favourites, which is canned and WILL keep - green olives stuffed with anchovies, he wants you all to try that!

Having studied the plans for the party, he's very content with the arrangements - Temptations, sushi and catnip!! Oh my, he'll join in for sure!!

Now, he only wants to know which airport to book the flight for, and will anyone be meeting him there? Perhaps I ought to call my Japanese friend and ask for advise on the dresscode etc!?

Fister also just asked - will there be any pretty girls? Mom, can I borrow your perfume? Will you do my nails?

I promise to look into the details of it all right after dinner, so I'll let you know how the travel arrangements go. ;)

Not to worry Steffi! Lovable was one of the first ones here - I saw him last night, napping on the balcony in an orange beanbag with Mt Fuji in the background. Right now, he and several others have headed into town to do some shopping. So, guess you will have to check that credit card statement pretty carefuuly!

Gary's crew also brought some Canadian catnip with them and maybe that is why everyone was so mellow last night!!

We are missing some of our PT friends but the jet will return and drop off some virtual goody bags for all who were unable to attend:D

Looks like T & P made it and Tubby is comfortably snoozing next to poor Paul. I tell you, if he isn't a cat lover after this!!!! ;) :D

And I'm not surprised the flight attendant was mooning over Peanut and Mitzi. Peanut tends to have that affect on people and she's a good teacher and I'm sure Mitzi learns quick. They're so similar that I'm sure the flight attendant was a little confused erery so often as to who she was talking to. ;)

Sounds like all the kitties are having a blast - and the two leggers too!

Sure hope Eddie and Fister show up soon! :D
