[Aspen and Misty]

(I changed my post to give you more Info and so it makes more sense)

Ok, I was sleeping in the bedroom and woke up to frantic crying. I thought it was Sada and she was stuck under the bed, s oI went to the floor and looked for her and when I saw her I called her to me but she didn't come (and she ALWAYS comes). I was like OMG, she is licking herself AND meowing! She had the kittens!!!! I went running to find the flash light to get a better look and went and woke my dad up. We never found the flashlight So I used the lamp and saw this tiny, scrawny black kitten!!!!! So we took the matresses off very slowly and quitly and we found another kitten, a lil black and white one!! So we waited and she had 4 more contrations and out came kitten #3. I called a friend and told her she was having them and she came over to watch. We all were sitting in there paitintly when I heard my brother outside (he delivers my newspaper, my mom helps him) so I went running out and told my mom and brother she was having the kittens. They came inside and we all went in to see Sada and she had kitten #4 there, right in front of all of us! Our first Animal birth witnessed by the same cat and kitten! :D

So, they are all dry now and nice and comfy in there bed with mom sleeping!:D Here are pics of each kitten, then in a following post are some more pics!

*THe sex of the kittens is just a guess and we expect them to change sex. I used a website and am pretty sure about there sexes.

Wow, can you tell when they're that tiny? I have a co-worker who just found out that the two "girl" kittens that she's had for two months or so are boys! And they're probably 6 or 7 months old now. Heh heh heh heh

You can tell at this age. Your best bet is comparison between the sexes. If they are all the same it might be a bit harder.

Now, figuring this out, they will be 6 weeks old for PA pet talk. A little young, but could you sneak me #4??? ;)

Aiko is one of my favs to. But I have to say Aimee is my number one sweety! He loves to be held, he will just sit there in your hand. He's face is so sweet looking, and when you look at it (in person) he looks JUST like an Aimee.

Looks like mother and babies are doing so good. Nothing to worry about at all. You didn't even have to deliver them, just sit back and watch a wonderful show of the miracle of birth!!

:( Aiko and one of the lil white/black ones are breathing heavly threw there mouths. They will take 3 deep breaths and then normal breath for awile and then take 3 deep breaths and then breath normal :( I called my vet and he said maybe they have to go potty, so I'm gonna go try that. If not it seems we'll have to take them all to the vet :( :(

AND my school said they aren't sure if they are going to keep Sadad, they said it to my dad, and he said "O, well then I guess we might have to." I don't know if he was kidding or if he was seriouse, but I hope he was seriouse!!!!!!!!

PS: this lil booger has a name now! Christian!! I named him that because our homeroom teacher is the Bible Teacher, and I go to a christian school and my class wanted to name one but couldn't come up with a name, so I came up with this, and I LOVE this name!

Nope. #4 is Wyatt. #2 is Christian.

I just made him go potty and although he did go, it's been 10 or 15 mins and he is still breathing odly. :( I'm gonna call my vet back and see if they want to see them. :(

Try not to worry overmuch. I know it must be hard NOT to, since they're so tiny and helpless. Give the vet a call, for your peace of mind if nothing else. The kittens are so lucky to have you there to take care of them!

Sometimes tiny kittens mouth breathe. Both litters that were born in my house did that. It may be wise to have them checked, though. I'm glad Sada lets you handle the kittens. They will get used to your scent even before their eyes are open.

It's been two years since I fostered newborns. They are so sweet!
