Ally Cat's Mommy

Kissy is recovering well from her abcess. I took her to the vet, and he gave her an anti-biotic injection "just in case" although he said the wound looked clean and that the guys at the shelter had done a great job of cleaning it.
She does not flinch at all when I pet her in the area of the injury, and is back to rubbing herself against my garden furniture and front door, so it can't be too tender any more.
Luckily she still trusts me, even after two trips in the carrier and the car. She still lets me pick her up, and give her scritchies.
(Here is a pic where you can see her injury, and where they had to clip all her hair off to clean it:

Here is a view from the front - she has such a pretty face, but every time I lean down to take a pic she moves towards me!
