My Sidney, who is seven years old, is not what you would call a lap-cat. He can tolerate being on my lap for a minute or two if he's sleepy, then starts looking for the nearest exit.
This weekend we tried something new. We have a cardboard box that we keep their kitty toys in. The sides of the box are just a few inches high. My husband emptied the box and put the box on my lap and then put Sid in the box. What a difference! He stayed in the box, on my lap, for several minutes.:D
Silly kitty:D
