Has there been a Rodent Contest?
If not, I would like to host one! I know there are so many adorable rodents here at PT, so why not have a contest?:)
Tell me what you think. Have we had this before?:)

I second that idea! Could guinea pigs and rabbits enter too? (They're not actually rodents) :D
yes yes yes, and yes what about rabbits and guinea pigs? they are not rodents. either way I can still enter with my gerbils lol

In the dictionary, guinea pigs are considered rodents. :)

I have two rodents, I could enter them. I could even enter my RB guinea pig, Angus. :) (I looked at merriam webster's site and they defined a guinea pig as a rodent...)

Exactly WHAT kind of rodent contest is this!? Cutest, Best Buddies, Silliest Pose/Face, etc!?!? Want to make sure I send in a good picture!

the dictionary lists guinea pigs as rodents because that is what they were FORMERLY classified as, new research howver has prooved that guinea pigs are closer to lagmorphs then they are to rodents, obviously they are NOT lagomorphs lol but they are closer to then then to rodents :p ;) I am defiantly enering the contest! question is.. WHICH critters shal I use? lol
I really have no clue what kind of contest it should be.:eek:
Any ideas?

Exactly how many photos can you submit!? There should be a limit to be fair to all contestants.
I myself have two entries, that's it.

I can't remember how many luckies sent in, but I think the limit should be 4. Sorry if one or more of your rodents have to be left out, but YLL had a good idea; we have to be fair!

I vote that guinea pigs and bunnies have a DIFFERENT contest...
(bunnies have more facial expressions and such than rodents)

Personally, I think rats have more facial expressions. Especially if you can see their wrinkles.

Oops, sorry, when she said she voted that rabbits and guinea pigs should be in a different contest, and, this is how you responded, I took it like they were already going to be in their own contest. SORRY! :( Now, I read her post about "glad I didn't submit" as a response to what you said about rats having more personality, now, she may think there's no chance of them winning because...aren't you the judge? Maybe she just thought after what you said that it was biased. Ugh, I don't know. I didn't want to be speaking for someone else. I just didn't think her comment was rude and I wanted to say something after the comment "what is that supposed to mean?"....anyway, I'm shutting up now. I shouldn't have said anything to begin with. :)
