Hey...as the vet said to wait until March to get Nicodemus and Tobias fixed because they're young yet, Nicodemus went into heat this week - and of course Tobias was all over her! (Vet promised he wouldn't be interested yet... :( ) Anyways, poor Tobias had to go into isolation...

...see the paw? That's Tobias begging to be let loose from my room.

Anyways, so Nicodemus has had to play by herself all week long...

And has had to make do with whatever friends she could find - the polar bear she stole from my daughter!

Poor thing...and poor us. But hopefully she will finish soon and she and Tobias can be reunited again...and go visit the vet soon so this won't have to happen again! ;)

I would think if she is old enough to have a heat cycle, then once it is over, she should be ready to be spayed!!! How old is she?

She's 6 months right now...but as Tobias is two months younger than her, the vet said to wait until I could do them both so that they won't want to play so rough after it's done and they come home. However, she said to wait until march...and I have already made an appointment for them for the 3rd...so we won't have to deal with this again!

Sometimes Cats mature , faster than others. I still remember when Mr Scrappy went behind Pouncer and started to grab her neck , he was at the Vets the next day! Then after he was neutered he still did it , andshe slapped his face , maybe , out of diappointment!
