This is from Ashley (binka) I saw it in her LJ and felt like I should post it.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ALBERT

A Day in the Life of a Shelter Dog in Atlanta (http://www.spotsociety.org/fatedog.html)

*Warning* The end is sad, so if you get queasy easily, maybe don't watch the end.

And a limit of three days... don't they get longer??? What if his family was on vacation and Albert was staying with friends... some people don't have hearts, and if they lost their friends dog, they wouldn't care... That's just the life of these poor dogs.... so so sad.

Who would want to take pictures of that?:( I know I wouldn't.

It is sad, but it is the truth.

Not a pleasant video at all.

I can't watch it but 3-4 days is all the animals at animal control here get, too. It's totally ridiculous but with so many irresponsible people in the world, there come lots of unwanted animals. A very sad fact.

That's awful.
As much as I hated watching the video, its what a lot of people need to see to realize what is really going on and how important it is to fully commit to a pet.
Poor Albert...may you rest in peace. :(

OMG, that was horrible! That was soooo sad! I'm sending that to all my dog lover friends, so they can spread the word about spaying and neutering.:)

Emma, I know what you mean. I wouldn't want to take pictures of the whole process but.. if it means getting the message across, I guess it was for the better.

:( Poor Albert. RIP sweetie.
