Ok, my geo teacher got caught looking at Porn on the internet, at school. After school hours while a B-ball game was going on. So, he of course got fired and now we have this REALLY hard geo teacher and he is going to make us do all this work and it's going to become another class that I'm going to fail, it's not fair! I was doing great with the old teacher, but now, I know I'm going to do horrible. I hate Geography! This will be our 3rd geo teacher this year. The first one quite, then we had the one who got fired and now we have him. I'm so upset, I feel like crying. Life must hate me :(

Ash, can you get some tutoring...maybe before or after school? How about having your schedule changed to get a more stable teacher?

yeah is that the only geography teacher? mabye some friends could help you too. i really don't know what to tell you other than that...i've had plenty of hard teachers who would try to fail me even though i had all A's and B's adn there was realy nothing i could do about it but study alot and try to please them

I loved geography. I bet the new teacher will stlle in, but right now feels he has a lot to prove, which is why he is piling on the work. If you are seriously getting behind, talk to him! And Pet talk has members all over the place geographically, so we could probably help!

My husband teaches Geogrpahy and desperately wants out opf his school! He'll be sending his resume tonight!;)

Seriously, I'm sorry that he did that. They KNOW not to do that - really stupid!

I don't mind the learning, or the studying, or the homework. I like it all, but I've been getting a's in that class and that is the ONLY class I've been getting them in. And now I'll probly go down into the C's like my other classes, teachers at my school don't know how to teach and many didn't even go to school to learn how to teach, they just enjoy it and deced to do it. :rolleyes:

I go to a small private school. There are only 150 students in the WHOLE school (K-12) We get really close to our teachers and will have the same teachers all 4 years we will be in High school. So I'm stuck with what ever person they can get, for 4 years! Our one teacher doesn't even teach, she just give us notes and a Lab every once and awile and thats all!!

Also, my main problem are test. I freeze up and forget everything! My spanish teacher even tested me on this. One time in lunch she was standing behind me and listened to me translate a paraghrph to A.W. (a friend of mine). I didn't know she was back there untill the end when she said good jod. But then in class she called on me to read the paragraph in front of her and the whole class (all 9 of us, lol) and I bomded it, compltly. But anyway, my old teacher was working on this with me and helping me not to do it so much, I was acctually getting good grades on some of my test.

Well, I guess I'll just have to keep working my butt off for those C's I'm getting :rolleyes:
