From where do you log on to PT?

Thought it would be interesting to hear from where you log on to to PT. I mostly do from home, but if I'm on a course, I log on from there too - if there's time. I also log on occasionally when I'm travelling, from internet cafees usually. :)

One time, I had to PM a member to get some info on a telephone no. In this particular case, it was nice to be able to see this member was online. :D

I also wonder, the ones of you who log on from work - does your boss know? :eek:

90% from home, and 10% of the time from work.

At work, it's usually on my lunch hour if we aren't eating together. Also, if I am on hold on the phone for a long time, I will take a sneak peak while I wait.

I don't think my boss knows about it, but I honestly don't think he would care if he did know. He's very laid back, and as long as we get our work done, he doesn't care about much.

Just from home. We don't have an internet connection at work, although my boss is *thinking about it.* Even if we do get an internet connection at work I wouldn't dare think of logging on. He would totally freak out. :rolleyes:

During my undergrad studies, I would occasionally log in from school... and if not busy in the office (my job was on campus) from work as well. I was caught a few times but they never said much.

Now, it's just from home. My office doesn't have connection to the internet and I do my schooling at home too!

Mainly from work. I log into PT and leave the screen open during the day. I haven't told anyone at work ;)

I sometimes log in at home at night if I am doing something on the computer - it's usually late morning in European timezones, so I get to see Vio&Juni, Randi, bisi.cat and the UKers online! :)

Since I work from home....home and office....but also sometimes from other offices in which I work....hotel internet rooms & internet cafes when traveling, my parent's home, my sisters' homes, friends' home. I've logged on from four countries....US, UK, France, and Germany. So I think "everywhere" covers it!

I put home and work. I always had it on at work but never thought of logging in. One day I was told it was o.k. but not to post on company time. I still have it on all day, but do my posting during breaks and lunch.

In the past, I have logged in from my work computer on some occasions, but I don't think I'll be doing that again, now that I have started a new job, with much more internet security than before. I'm trying to jump over to my home computer right now to log in a bit before life changes and I move to an office (at my request). I have always tried to use my home computer since I was in a home office for so long, even though Pet Talk was available from my work computer.

I am still "invisible", though. Just trying to sneak up on you, Randi!!!! :p

Jen, with your comment, you made me reflect on how my parent would have reacted to the internet. My mom would surely have been on PT - or similar sites, and also playing games. My dad would have been logged on to something to do with architecture, matematics and chess games. :D
