Tonya, I hope you're not mad at me. :o I needed a picture to draw for my Illustration class...I didn't get a chance to ask you first. It probably doesn't look like her, but I thought I'd share anyway. It kinda turned out looking like she has stripes, it wasn't supposed to look like that. :o

I think it's scratchboard--white paper covered with black (? forgot). You scratch the black off to reveal the white... can get confusing if you're doing a blk/white (or grey/white) subject as things can become backwards.

It does really look like scratchboard in the scan, but it's not. I had to darken it up a bit because it scanned the background all weird.

It's pen/ink on a white board. Scratchboard would have been much easier though with the black background!
