Can someone please explain AMOCK?

With Karen out of the building, I know that there have been references to running amock. I'm guessing that this is in reference to an old thread from before my time?

I'd like to be let in on the joke if any old timers would be so kind to enlighten me.

Click on the Search tab.
Search by keyword. Type in amok (or amock or amoke)
In Search options, highlight Other, General.
Then click on Perform search.
Several threads will show up. Open the oldest one in 2002, and the rest in order, and you'll see where it all started.:)

when we ran "amock" - when the Mayor was out of town. (we didn't spell it correctly - but it was intenshunall..........)

We almost overloaded their server........hee hee..............
