Me, watching the weather channel, knew we were going to get hit hard, but I like playing in deep snow with Kia.... I just hate driving in it.
I still had to work that day, but since it was still coming down hard at 3 p.m., Cooley decided to cancel all it's evening classes and close it's buildings at 5 p.m. Thankfully, our boss here at the Library said we could go home before 5. :D I got out of work at 4 and it took me an hour to get home. Not bad, the roads being like they are. I live a half hour away on good roads.
In the end, Lansing got between 7 to 9 inches of snow. Eaton Rapids topped out with the most snowfall at 10 inches.
I took a few pictures throughout the day. :)

Kia just had a blast in it. :D
Here's a local story on the storm, including a 50 car pile up on I-96. No one was hurt thankfully.
