Hey Everyone, Yes as my friend Jess said I am new to this...she made me sign up for this....so i'm new to this not too sure whats going on but give it a try!

So thats my bunny timpleton a mini lop got him back in sept 03 as a lilttle tiny bunny..now he's 5 1/2 months old.
AND
am i ever going through pet training with him!
It started with a tiny innocent bunny who would run from one end of the room to the other and thats about all, then got curious about some furniture, clothes, socks, shoes and dirt in the corners of my walls. Then he mastered jumping onto my bed, which freaks me out sometimes (unexpected) he's not mastered the idea that he is "The boss" He has also mastered the idea that he is a dog. He waits for the fridge door to open and lurks around until food is give, he sits under the table waiting for food or some crumbs to drop and....now has mastered hoping up onto the chair onto the table to drink my juice from my cup or eat my food on the table.

Mr. Timpleton has also had an occasional visit to the "Swimming pool" (toilet), also had fun pulling and eating the roll of toilet paper....

And let's see now we like to jump into the garbage can because thats a buffet...we also like to run at full speed without realizing there is a telephone cord and tripping over it and tumbling....we also like to thump until we get attention from people around the house....

If he is put in his cage, he moves his litter box from one corner to the other...loves to run around my feet now .lol.......and in between my feet.....thats a whole different can of worms...

other then that....he has basically got the idea he is boss around here and we must work around his schedule and his preferences...........

His names TIMPLETON, not as cute as he sounds or looks...

:p :p :p :p :p :p

You should try to be more careful. Picking up socks (if he eats to many it could get cought in his intestens and block them), putting the toilet seat down (he can drowned when your not home), try putting your hamper some where, like in a closet, put your trash can up or buy a larger (he can get an upset tummy, *maybe* even poisened depending on whats in there), you could always buy a taller one, you also need to bunny proof. Picking up all wires (telophone cords) things like that. Even if you are supervising play he still can instantly, before you relize it, chew through the cord and be electracally shocked. Please don't think I'm trying to be rude or anything!

Some bunny web pages

www.hrs.org (some people don't like the House Rabbit Society, so I don't always take there word on everything)

One of my friends web page (rabbits are also know as Lagomorphs)
http://www.muridae.com/rabbits/rabbittalk_intro.html

http://www.hopperhome.com/

Just to name a few that I use sometimes. Hope these help. You might want to read up on bunny proofing your home.

Glad you joined and I can't wait to get to know you and your bunny!!!

Ashley :)
