Hi, I am getting a golden Retreiver puppy and well... i just want to anounce it to the world, so ya lets all share... pictures and stories about your pets!!!:D

I had a Golden Retriever! She was so wonderful, I miss her so much. :(

Her name was Barrett, and she died of cancer (lymphoma ((sP?) at four years of age.
Goldens are prone to cancer, and sickness. I hope you did lots of research!! :D

thanks, im so excited I get her on Valentines day, Im gonna call her Cassie, and if we get a dog im gonna call him Brodey or Ace... but we want a girl :rolleyes:

yes I already have gotten four books on training and all about them, and two of my friends have goldens so they're all helping me... and the breeder is giving alot of information!:cool:

Where are you getting your puppy from? A responsible breeder, I hope. :) Male/Female? Goldens are the best dogs. :D

My name is Julie and I am owned by two dogs, Daisy a female Golden Retriever who will be 2 years old on Feb. 10, and Molly, a female Sable and White Rough Collie who will be 3 years old on Feb. 9th. You can see them both in my signature below.

I also have 2 cats, a Pied Cockatiel named Piper, a hamster, and six Desert Tortoises.

Have you done any research on Golden Retrievers before you decided that they are the right breed for you? Before you bring him/her home, I suggest you do so! If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, or post them here. :)

ya the pup was a christmas pressent from my mom, I didn't know untill we got to (the very nice.. and responsable) breeder, my mom had been searching for the right breed and breeder for months, and now its only 3 weeks untill we get the dog :D

Hey, welcome to PT! Congrats on getting a new puppy soon!!

I have 3 dogs Piddle, Jasper and Wiggles! And a huge cat, Tigger!(I will put pictures below)

Jasper was also my x-mas gift! I got him on Nov.2nd! I know how all the waiting is, I wanted a boxer for about 2 years, and finally got one!

Make sure you take tons of pictures, as I look at ALL Jasper's puppy pictures, I wish I had that many puppy pictures of Piddle! Oh and all of us, we love pictures;)

Welcome to Pet Talk!

Congratulations on your new puppy! I'm going to a sportsman show with my dad in a few weeks, and they'll probably have Golden Retriever pups there, (from responsible breeders, of course), and I'm going to look at the puppies there, and I'm going to ask him them. And I'm also going to try to cry, and maybe that will work! Everyone, please, please pray that I get a puppy! It's me dream!

I hope you will be getting little sweet Cassie spayed, right?? :)
Oh, I'm looking forward to pictures!:D
